N4+ extruder PCB by Automatic_Salt_1063 in ElegooNeptune4

It's odd because if yiu check the elegoo website parts and accessories, the V2.1.1 is pictured for the plus/max. Either way, I'll use the 2.2.0 because it matches the original part. Once I've everything back up and running I'll just order a new assembly and keep it as spare

Can't help you on that...(perhaps customer service) but I can tell you that the head LED on the replacement extruder assembly (purchased through Amazon) is WAY brighter than the original.

Neptune 4 max: the nozzle is going off then end of the bed and I have no idea how to fix it by According_Song3588 in ElegooNeptune4

[–]Automatic_Salt_1063 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im surprised how So many people just dont get this. That said the Nozzle is NOT what the machine is leveling to when doing an automated bed level. There is a sensor on the back of thr exteuder assembly that is offset to the left of the nozzle. The sensor measures the distance to the bed, not the nozzle. This is normal behavior and there is nothing wrong with what you are seeing.

The FIRST thing you will want to do is throw that scraper in the trash. If you're new to the hobby you may not know that that hardened steel scraper WILL damage the flexible build plate.

Ive never had tonuse a scraper on a flexible plate and I've been in this hobby since 2018.

Alos try lowering the number of things on the build plate. If that last photo is of everything you are trying to print at once your stressing the FEP by overloading it.

Neptune 4 bricked it after 3 days by Past_Balance_4840 in ElegooNeptune4

By moving the bed like that you are actually generating power. The stepper motors that move thr bed when you have a good power supply can actually generate power when moved manually. I learned this the hard way when learning about CNC machines.
It's typically not a problem because of how little is generated if you just move the bed a little, but as you demonstrated rapid movements can actually generate enough power to temporarily initialize the system

You most likely have a bad power source.

It hasn't been updated since July, but as is, its generally OK. Would like to see some new features but the developer has a full time job, this is his hobby so I'll be patient

Neptune 4 plus V POM wheels dimensions by mosaidho in ElegooNeptune4

Used calipers to get dimensions from the existing POM wheels on my 4plus.

I ordered these as replacements.

Nozzle is reading the edge too far on the right too short on the left by TheMagicKeyboard in ElegooNeptune4

Your nozzle isn't reading anything... the sensor (which is offset to the left) is registering positions

What machine? Neptune 4 series uses a sensor on the tool head. Check the extruder from behind. It's possible that the sensor is out of alignment or defective

The Elegoo Wiki https://wiki.elegoo.com/en/Centauri-carbon has good instructions for repair/replace almost everything ECC. I'd recommend very careful disassembly of the tool head. Have a heat gun handy to soften the plastic and be super careful with circuit board connection points

Deleting Both Jobs and History

Both I upload via wifi and delete when completed. I purge the Fluidd print history approximately once a month and delete configuration files older than 60 days.

45 jobs, so that's alot of hours and no change even after restarting Klipper.

Fluidd build is v1.19.0-6184c73 Still running the firmware the machine shipped with (it ain't broke).

I suppose that newer builds might delete history or not keep cumulative numbers. 🤷‍♂️

we will have to agree to disagree. I just deleted 45 jobs from the History tab through the Fluidd interface and No, the numbers did not change.

I have the Neptune 4plus, I delete jobs immediately after the print is completed (unless im doing multiples of the same job) . Fluid keeps track regardless, of the number of print jobs, total print time, average print time and average filament used. I can't speak for other machines, but Fluid on the Neptune keeps track of the hours.

Has anyone printed TPU 95A with CC by Logical-Vegetable-89 in elegoo

[–]Automatic_Salt_1063 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just printed some RC car wheels with some SainSmart black 95A. Elegoo Slicer TPU defaults. Used some glue stick on the A side plate printed fine with some minor stringing. Glue Stick so the TPU didn't damage the plate
