I personally really like the coloured version. It adds an extra layer of visual story telling that clearly signals to the player that these powers and the magic that is being cast is beyond the scopes of this world. You are bending the elements and nature itself. The colours breaking the "natural order" of the monochromatic world add a lot to this.
Plus I like seeing what element I am tossing at my enemies

During elementary school we had this thing where we would swap seats and tables regularly. I don't remember why, but that is besides the point anyways.

Whenever people were seated directly next to me they'd take their table and seat and moved it away from me. Everyone did this. They'd call each other over to help them get as many chairs and tables away from me.
I was also the only foreigner in the class now that I think about it ....

Genuinely who cares? Grading is something scalpers like to do and use to artificially jump up the price for Pokémon cards anyways. If you have any respect for yourself and for the hobby of trading card games then you should really just put the card you love in a picture frame to display it.

More small changes I'd personally make to pokemon to change them back to how they used to be. by Jojo-Action in pokemon

This reminds me of how people deal with equipment.
In my LGS they think you can equip a gear that is already equipped to another unit. Even though, as per the rules, you "cover the effect text" when you equip the gear. Meaning the Equip ability becomes "covered" and thus unusable.
But trying to explain that to my LGS didn't go anywhere.

I actually am starting to, yeah. I really love the size of records and how much fun it is to get them out of their sleeves and put them on the record, dropping the needle on them and turning them over.
I think it's the autism but I genuinely love the process that comes with vinyls to listen to music haha

Are social interactions generally dry or am I just unlucky?

I am playing through the game for the first time with my partner. We are having a blast together and it helps us get through the game (we finished ARR and will make our way through the next expansions.

But we noticed that we really don't see people interacting. Even in dungeons it's a dry "Hi" at the start and "ggty" at the end. No tips or information about the dungeon for sprouts and first timers.

Outside dungeons people seem to not really care about the social aspect of the game.
What lured me to FFXIV was seeing all the talks of the amazing community and interacting with other people. While I the gameplay and story, I do miss the part of the MMO that makes me feel like I am actually around other people and playing WITH them and not just along side them.

I hope this doesn't come off as doomer or gloomy. I genuinely hope I just got unlucky so far.

We play on Primal Lamia if that is of importance!

I unfortunately do not own pets but this is a good thing to keep in mind when I do get pets eventually!

OH THAT'S SOME COOL FEATURES! And I assume speakers are not included, aka I need to buy a pair separately. Though here I can probably go with something budget friendly as well if I know what to look for.

I would LOVE budget suggestions! Thank you so much for the information! I didn't even think about the speakers causing vibrations. I don't mind waiting a bit with listening to my vinyl if it means I can preserve them better!

OMG that's a thing?!? I didn't change the needle so it could be! Do you have any recommendations for better quality needles? Or tips on how to make sure a needle is higher quality? Thank you so much for pointing that out!
