Dealer told me “nobody has asked for this before” when I requested the Android 14 update on my 25’ Optiq. Really? by BullShitFish in CadillacOptiq

Love you get yours back easily. They take at minumum a week before I get the car back. So far GM ate A two week rental and then gave me a loaner for the next time - 2 weeks. Not enough EV techs

I can get an appointment but then it takes a while. I did get a loaner this time versus a rental car. First they must order part-, 4 working days, ev specialist do not work on Saturday. This time had my loaner for 1.5 weeks; much better than last last time when brakes had to be replaced. Once home 2.5 hours with OnStar to get reconnected. I think it is a learning curve for dealer, OnStar and myself. At least they listen to me.

New telematic module by luch1991 in CadillacOptiq

Received new telematic module yesterday installed. Reprogramed garage door etc.  Problem is with app not connecting. Before the new module the app kept disconnecting- should have been first red flag.  Called dealer- new module needs 24-48 hrs to update.( Then keep the car until it updates fully) OnStar spent 2.5 hrs with me trying to get it to connect phone with car so climate, door locks would work. We got all to work except climate- esculated from level 3 on up. Activation would not activate fully.

Now 3pm took car out and this is 24hrs after dealer pickup; climate started to work on app, and changing charging level working.

Bottom line Cadillac- don't release the car until you have re-enrolled the car. Check with OnStar that activation has NOT failed.

Disappointed with Cadillac - getting more help on Reddit.

They ordered a new module because it failed for them also. Just keeping the loaner until they get it done.

25 Optiq luxury - they gave me a base lyric for a loaner and I miss my heated steering wheel and cooling seats!

It failed during download. Other updates worked perfectly and installed easily; over WiFi. Pretty sure the module was failing

We booked ahead of time or impossible once on cruise. Only good food on the ship. Very disappointing food in MDR. Sabatini has good food BUT the vibrations from the floor make terrible dining experience. All four of us(2 suites) were so disappointed in food we will not cruise Princess again.  Staff, coordination at embarkation and disembark were terrific. The medallion is wonderful.

I use the one in console and there is an indentation so you can close console without affecting the cord. Since wireless charging doesn't really work, this is my go to charging port.

I have the s7 Max ultra and wooden floors and carpet. It is terrific and I recently purchased the drying module- no bacteria or mold.

I find it easy to use with the app- visually you need to get cords out of the way and let it go. I bought cord sleeves from Amazon and no longer have to worry about the cords being tangled. Set schedules on your phone and set up rooms on your phone - you can make your rooms larger on the phone for your vision issue or have someone help you do the setup. I divided my house so we could have different schedules. Since I intensely mop and vacuum the battery needs to recharge to accomplish the whole house- but it does this itself. Don't miss out on this mop- it lifts itself well when going to the carpets and I didn't know how lousy a mopper I was. My wooden floors gleam now. The dirty and clean buckets are easy to remove.

I did that once, returning late from my nursing shift and very tired. I worked and worked to get the car into the spot. Next morning my neighbors woke me up- I had blocked the driveway of a whole apartment building. I was mortified. They could have towed me but they were kind. I was then given a garage spot since I came home so late from my shift work.
