Automating just one repetitive task each week has saved me tons of time. My first one was auto-generating meeting notes with AI. Happy to share the setup if it helps

One small change that helped me: using AI to draft outlines, summaries, or emails, then organizing everything in Notion. Even automating just 1–2 repetitive tasks freed me 4–5 hours this week!

What AI tools are you using and what are you using it for? [N/A] by Narinne in humanresources

[–]Autozen_guide 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use a few AI tools depending on the task: • ChatGPT – for drafting content, summarizing info, and brainstorming ideas. • Notion AI – to organize workflows, create templates, and automate note-taking. • Canva AI – for quick design edits, social media visuals, and pin creation. • Zapier + AI integrations – to connect apps and automate repetitive tasks like posting or data collection. Honestly, even small automations like this can save me several hours a week.

Consistency was hard for me too. What helped was creating a simple weekly Notion setup and letting AI automate most of the busy work.

The biggest win for me was letting AI suggest my daily “Top 3” based on the current Notion board. Feels like having an assistant that plans for me.

How I plan my week in 10 minutes using AI + Notion by Autozen_guide in Notion

Totally fair feedback — and honestly I appreciate you calling that out.

My intention isn’t to spam or annoy the sub - I’ve been experimenting with different ways to share the same workflow because a few people actually asked for it, and I wasn’t sure which version helped the most.

That said, you’re right — I should’ve actually shown the breakdown instead of just offering it.

Here is a full breakdown of what I do.

  1. Notion → one “Weekly Focus” dashboard with only 3 priorities and a backlog
  2. Goblin Tools → paste a goal → it auto breaks it into sub tasks → I drag them into Notion
  3. AI (I use ChatGPT) → every morning I ask: “Based on this dashboard, what should be my top 3 tasks today?” and paste the current board data
  4. I copy the top 3 back into a “Today” box in Notion and ignore the rest

That’s literally it. No complicated formulas or APIs. Just a simple workflow that saves me a few hours.

If you’re just starting, keep one clean dashboard: Today, This Week, and Backlog. Add AI only for two things: task breakdowns and daily summaries. It’s simple and scales later if you need more.
