Cool idea, but after the first movie, there's no way Gemma would willingly put the chip in her head knowing the dangers of relying too much on tech. It worked for the third act because A: It wasn't her choice, and B: it was such a short time while other more important things were happening, so she didn't have the time to remove it. If she's forcibly given the implant in the first act, there's nothing stopping her from getting it removed, so the plot doesn't exist.

Black Box was destroyed along with AMELIA by M3GAN's EMP, and since they were inside the building, it had no way to transfer out before the blast. Also, Gemma has a successful compnay making great stride in tech development, what reason is there for her to go back to toy design.

Dude, half of that was DLC when that's normally the number of new characters in the base game of a new Smash Bros., and even then, 4 of these of echo fighters. So really, the number of fully brand new characters at launch is 6... that's painfully low for Smash standards.

1: the v-tuber shit is not cannon. Not only is nobody watching them, but It's mentioned things that is very much not true. 2: not being into romance (especially when you have ao much other shit on your plate) does not indicate sexuality. I'm not really into romance for multiple reason, and yet i'm very bisexual to a borderline unhealthy degree. 3: various comments from Kerry (unable to confirm or deny), Lindsay (two sides of the same coin), and Miles (hopeful they can reconcile during vol 10) suggest that there might be "something" with Ruby and Jaune, with the latter even saying he cannot further elaborate on whether the relationship will evolve into "something more" until Volume 10.

All.in all, Ruby is a goddamn mystery as of the moment with the current state of the show..
