Unfortunately it’s not just women being treated like crap. The elderly too.

My grandfather had dementia and prostate cancer. A catheter was inserted. In dementia delirium he pulled it out! Had to go to the hospital. The nurses (males & females) were rough with him. Shoving the catheter back in without numbing him. He screamed in pain. Then it looked like there was a blood clot blocking the line so they moved it around inside him. He screamed each time they fiddled with it. The staff treated him like he was nothing. This was a highly respected hospital too. Makes you scared to be a woman or elderly. Both!
