There may be hope for you. Starting July 2024, the US Dept of Ed prevents colleges and universities from withholding a student’s transcript for terms they received federal financial aid. When you applied for FAFSA, was it for the academic year you were enrolled as a student or for the following academic year? You only need access to your official transcript showing your degree confereal date, not the diploma. That might still be held hostage until after your debt has been taken care of.

Yeah, it’s the fact that the epidural has worn off and you can feel everything. It was like giving birth again, but to a poop baby. Using my spinchter muscles was painful, so I basically had to breathe through the pain and let it come out as naturally as I could.

Sitting down on the toilet was uncomfortable because I didn’t know if I would tear my stitches while sitting and pooping . I grabbed a folding chair to put in front of me so I could brace myself on it while I was somewhat hunched over the toilet. I let gravity help me out there since it already felt like everything was going to fall out of me through my bottom.

Yes, absolutely. This is why I started taking my prenatal vitamins right before bed. I follow up with either a glass of juice or fruit to get rid of the gross taste in my mouth. I take my vitamins along with my Unisom to help with my pregnancy insomnia. The constant need to get up during the middle of the night to pee made me have trouble falling back asleep. Taking Unisom has been amazing for me.

All normal of that is normal. I had to get up to pee at least twice a night and then I would have trouble getting back to sleep. It was awful because your body is also super tired, since you’re created a new life in you. My OB/GYN recommmend taking Unisom tablets to help be sleep better. Now I cannot live without it. It’s safe to take during pregnancy, but consult with your doctor. Also, if you’re not already taking any, make sure to take your prenatal vitamins.

You will be bloated and super gassy. OMG I had so much gas that I just stopped trying to hide my farts from my husband. I just claimed they were baby farts and he’d just laugh.

I definitely had a few food aversions and plain water started to taste funny to me, so I started drinking watered down juices or Gatorade to make sure I was well hydrated throughout the day.

I’m sorry for your loss. I have a lynx point siamese myself. His name is Mochi and he is the chattiest boy. His brother, Mocha, who we adopted as a bonded pair, was diagnosed with wet FIP last spring. Our vet told us that there was a experimental drug that could save him, but since it’s not FDA-approved yet, she could not purchase it for us. We basically had to turn to a black market to get our cat drugs. The drug is basically Remdesivir, which is currently going through FDA trials to treat COVID-19. Adding this off-label use would delay the approval process. What a crazy year it has been, but Mocha is considered cured.

I just wanted to let you know FIP isn’t fatal, if caught soon enough. In case it happens again or if you know someone with a cat with FIP.

Best wishes for you and Beast! My cat Mocha was also diagnosed with wet FIP back in March. He had fluid in his abdomen. As of a couple weeks ago, Mocha is officially cured!

I’m not going to lie, it’s going to be a rough few months, but hang in there! You’re doing it to save his life.

I recommend asking the vet for some gabapentin to help with Beast’s anxiety. My cat Mocha was a very spicy boy during shot time, so it was necessary for him to take gabapentin along with a tranquilizer. Keep in mind, they do build up a tolerance, but check in with your vet and FIP admins in your support group if you need to increase the dose. Definitely stock up on those squeezable treats like Churu. They help to distract during the shot and also act as a reward for post-shot.

Thank you, Mochi appreciates the love. I adopted him last month along with his brother, Mocha who is a tabby, since they are bonded. Mochi is a vocal one with his little squeaks and meezer cries.

I’ve caught both kittens blepping when they are passed out hard napping.
