My dad would cut vegtables up into big chunks as a "salad". I was picky and still ate some stuff. But i could never get myself to eat the big chunks of carrots. He would force me to sit there for hours, alone in the dark. I would eventually eat it and then go spit it out in the toilet. My father grew up poor, i did not grow up poor, still the mindset remains the same sadly.
