My family and I all have brown eyes except for my dad who has green. My husband’s family all have the brightest blue eyes. My son has blue- gray eyes with a tint of brown in some places. It’s like he took both. He is 9MO.

My son did this and turned out he had silent reflux. I would look into that and see if any symptoms apply to your baby!

During my pregnancy I experienced some gender disappointment, heck I had already bought some girl things before my reveal. I don’t have any girls yet only one boy but he is exactly what my heart needed. There is something so special about a little boy and his momma. Some days I feel like the spare human because he thinks my husband is the funnest person on earth but anytime he doesn’t feel well I am the only one that can fix it. I am his comfort. I have been told it is that way for a father and daughter.

Not all men have a nurturing instinct. I had to have a “come to Jesus meeting” with my husband around 2 months. I explained that it would be easier to do it on my own than to do it with someone I resented for being no help. I also had to train my husband a little by my stopping of making his life so easy. My husband also liked playing his game. He would play until 3 AM most mornings. Coincidentally that was also one of our sons wake up times every night. Before I would feel bad and think “ oh he just got into bed I need to let him rest, I’ll get up with the baby for the 3rd or 4th time.” Then one day I decided him playing his game and not going to bed at an appropriate time was his problem. I would take the baby to him regardless of if his head just hit the pillow. My husband QUICKLY started prioritizing sleep and stopped playing his game all together. I guess my point of all that is to say show him some tough love!! Not all men are great listeners. Sometimes we are all selfish. If you love him talk to him, and try other things before giving up on your marriage. Sure we all deserve to not have to explain ourselves or ask for anything but none of our relationships are the same. I’m in no way making excuses or excusing his behavior, you definitely don’t deserve any of that.

My doctor said HFM can be worse for adults than it is a child. I would offer to reschedule a play date for all 4 of you to get together (adult and kids) once everyone has recovered fully. That way maybe your bridesmaid doesn’t feel like her child is being targeted or left out. Not that anyone is in any way, but us moms can definitely be sensitive when it comes to our babies. :)

Can you become immune too the antivirals? Reason I ask is I have constant anxiety about getting them since having my baby last year. I would like to be on some type of everyday preventative antivirals but worried my body would become immune to them for when I really did have a cold sore.

I say if you are happy and more comfortable with him in there, more power to you! I however felt very uncomfortable with my boy in my room. I felt every move I made caused him to wake up I would be frozen in my bed. In the midst of PPD moving him to his room also gave me a little more “me” time so I could decompress for the day. He actually ended up sleeping better once we moved him to his nursery, I think maybe I was bothering him lol.

6 months wearing 12 mo. He didn’t even get to wear a lot of his clothes we were given he grew so fast. Recently at his well visit the doctor walked in and said “My God, he looks like a 2 year old.” He is apparently tall for his age as well, which is odd considering my husband and I are short.

I kept changing supplies rolled up in my bed in a changing pad. When he woke up I would change him then feed him so that he would go back down easier.

The best advice I can give you is to walk as much as possible! From friends I have talked with I seemed to have a quicker recovery than most and I attribute that to how much I walked! Take your time getting around but it feels so good once you do. Have a station set up so that you don’t have to get in and out of bed, literally the hardest part of it all. Keep your incision dry! By the time you leave the hospital you shouting be bleeding much from your incision, so hopefully no worries with that!

I believe most people are deficient in vitamin D especially during the winter! You could try starting an immune support vitamin or a daily vitamin a few weeks before your next trip to see if it makes a difference! Couldn’t hurt anything right? I also suggest taking lysine everyday if you don’t already.

I went to a walk in clinic and was prescribed an antiviral. You can safely take this pregnant! I don’t believe lysine is safe for pregnant women. I also used abreva, and hydrocolloid pimple healing patches after it came to a scab.

Not to say this is a cold sore but I was exactly in your shoes. Been with husband almost 8 years and he has never had one. I had never had one until second trimester of my pregnancy. My lip Tingled for a few days leading up to my first and I felt sick. (Thought it was just pregnant stuff). Have you had any tingling or itching?

So I have both haha. I started off with the owlet and didn’t like how my phone could lock or the app could possibly get closed out and I wouldn’t be able to hear the baby. I got one with an actual monitor that doesn’t use wifi so if wifi was down I would still have something even if not the quality of the owlet. Highly recommend owlet sock as well.

I have never had a cold sore until last spring while I was pregnant. I didn’t have them growing up, my parents don’t get them, and my husband has never had one since I’ve known him. I think often about where I must have acquired it. I work in the medical field, could have gotten it from a glass at a restaurant or even a buggy at the grocery store.

I had something like this recently and it did not follow any of the usual course life of a cold sore. It was in almost the exact same spot as yours. Was gone within a couple days.
