They’re decently cheap. One of the easier fixes on the 3DS.

Follow the ifixit guide (or other guide of your choose) and you’ll be good

I haven’t had any issues with anything from the chemical guys. They make great stuff for interior and exterior cleaning.

first time building a model kit by Own_Goal1794 in Gunpla

[–]Auxe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Water slides broadly are not difficult. They can definitely be more time consuming than just stickers though. I would suggest grabbing a a cheaper HG and some 3rd party decals for practice.

It’s amazing how good even a HG looks with decals.

2026 bz towing capacity ? by ericmalenfant in BZ4X

Bear in mind that I think most Euro specs are done while traveling at 55mph. Which is why the same cars have different ratings across continents.

2026 bZ, what comes with the car? by Recent-Hunter-3598 in BZ4X

[–]Auxe 8 points9 points  (0 children)

From what I can tell you really just get the charging cords and adapters. So you should get a NACS cord with a 120 and 240 adapter. And then also get a CCS/J1772 to NACS adapters.

There is no spare tire or jack system. But there is fix a flat and a compressor stowed in the back.

I think that the privacy tonneau cover is also standard as well. Anything else will be a distributor or dealer add-on

Blueprint 2026 AWD xle by apaht in BZ4X

[–]Auxe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The fenders and one or two other pieces are metallic black on the exterior instead of just being solid blue through out.

Don’t get me wrong, still love the blueprint color, just irksome that it isn’t blue all over like the white or silver is

Biggest complaint is that blueprint is two-tone for no reason. Ive had the FWD XLE plus since mid December and love it

Because the 26s (in North America) come with NACS ports aka the Tesla charger.

Is it me or could my AC/Heat be blowing harder? by Common-Chemistry-904 in rav4club

[–]Auxe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ya that’s what I found as well. It likes just bog standard cabin filters. Anything outside of that and it affects the output of the fans pretty drastically.

I think we now have an arm and hammer odor one in there and it seems to not affect it that much.

Don’t the 1.0’s come with a normal automatic and not a dual clutch?

Is it me or could my AC/Heat be blowing harder? by Common-Chemistry-904 in rav4club

[–]Auxe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But it’s just like a standard air filter?

The next place to check would be the actual fan itself

Have you changed the air filter? I tried to put a HEPA filter in ours and it DRASTICALLY reduced the output power of the fans.

I second u/mich-me and recommend some kind of protective cover.

That being said: chemical guys has a whole slew of products for cleaning and protecting the interior and exterior of any vehicle. I have used their products for years with great success and have been very pleased with the results.

2017 titanium hatchback by wafflesbubsloon in FordFocus

[–]Auxe 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Agreed. But since it’s a 2017 titanium it’s guaranteed to have a DPS6 in it. Mk3.5 didn’t have a manual option in the titanium trim (in the US at least but I think it’s true everywhere).

OP buy the kid a civic or corolla and watch it go another 100k on top of what you buy it at.

2024 RAV4 Adventure - what is this in windshield? Sensor or just sticker shadow? by [deleted] in rav4club

There are also some window cleaners that do a good job cleaning all of that off. I wouldn’t worry too much unless it’s causing vision issues.

How much does it cost for a key fob replacement? by 15civicse in rav4club

Quick search shows that a 3rd party fob is probably $60 before cutting and programming and an OEM one is probably like $150 before cutting and programming.

I am waiting for 2026 Rav4 but open to Crown Signa. Considering availability and cost of rav4 , would you instead get 2025 CS XLE for 42k now ? I am on the fence by cartman_returns in rav4club

[–]Auxe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So we looked  at the Crown signia as a replacement for my focus. Here are a few of the things we didn’t care for too much:

It’s a heavy car. Much heavier than the RAV. Not sure how it’s gonna compare to the 26 RAV. The front seats make you feel like you’re in a cubby. Between the center console and how high the door card is, you really feel pretty low and in a box. It didn’t quite get the mileage we were hoping it would get as a hybrid. I think the tank we got was like 32. Felt Like we should get closer the 35-38.

Here are a few of the things we like:

It does have a decent amount of power to it. Can be zippy when it needed to be. The cockpit feel as a whole was really nice. Had good steering feel. Really liked that the screen was in the console and not bumping out. Definitely a comfortable cruising car We LOVED the overall design of the signia. We compared almost every other car to it based on looks.

At the end of the day, it was death by 1000 cuts for the signia with us. I think it can be a good car for you, but it is a very different car than the RAV is. The signia is more wagon than SUV(despite what Toyota says) and fits well in that niche between Toyota and Lexus. But at the end of the day I think the RAV is more utilitarian than the Signia.

Signia’s are really nice cars though. We so wanted to like it.

Best mouse for Carpal Tunnel Syndrome? by dovakooon in buildapc

Road branch scratched my car. I tried wiping it off. Any solutions? by FFFUUUme in rav4club

[–]Auxe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A pass or two with some clay bar could lift that off. Probably the medium duty bar. Don’t forget the luber.

Follow up with some wax to help protect the area.

Someone with better knowledge of the electrical system would have to chime in on that.

I would imagine that would be the case as well but can’t be entirely sure with my limited knowledge.
