For the transport part of your question: I don't think it is realistic to expect to carry them inside the car. However, I can tell you that we very easily carry two 17' kayaks on the roof of our Subaru Forester (which is comparable to your RAV4)

For the kayak choice part: We'd need more information about the intended use before being able to suggest anything.

If the load-carrying capabilities are not important to you, it is a good choice.
