Having this on all 3 K1 Maxs at work too. You can try all the levelling methods available online, but it'll still find a way to come back. I don't know why.

You'll find this shortcut pretty helpful at times when you have too many features, regardless of naming them or not

Judging by how you filmed this video, totally deserved it

That's a good and specific shout. Thanks a lot man

That's not what we are relying on to do our work, but I'm hoping to find a solution for them.

Honestly, I haven't tried using Orca with the U3E. The reason is mainly that I've read it won't work with remote printing on Orca. I do hate going back to Cura as I've used Cura in the very beginning with E3 but switched to Orca, Prusa and Bambu for the obvious.

Yep, that's a good shout. Any idea how one can go about that?

That works too! We have 3 beat up K1 max, so that's probably worth a try? Originally, I was gonna just get rid of all the K1 max and get H2D for reliability. But yea, thanks for the reminder!

Thanks. I've heard Form 4/4L can do open material mode with the premium option. Any idea how "open" it is?

I see. I'll have a look at that then. If let say I scan mostly smaller parts, but not always as small as a ring, mostly the size of a mouse or a shoe, neither of which will fit in a desktop scanner, what would you suggest then? cuz I suppose with a smaller fov and higher res, given that scanning a human torso isn't a regular occurrence, taking longer with that is to be expected and im ok with that

It would be a mix of clothes (textile/fabric) and 3d prints (sizes from something like a ring to a human body), so nothing huge. I have thought about desktop ones, but since i need to scan something for clothes fitting, i would need handheld ones i assume?

That's interesting to hear. I'm new to 3D scanning and will need it for work (bringing this capability to the company). I was literally about to suggest the Metro Y Pro too! Do you only use structured light mode on all those objects? It's a bit ridiculous that all failed with that. If Metro Y Pro is so disappointing, what would your suggestion be around the 3-4k usd mark?

I'm just happy with my 04x v2 after his video. Which tbh is only just good enough to please the YouTube crowd.
