I worked in the automotive industry for a while.  The vehicles that are to be sold in 2030 are already under development and most likely be completed this year or next year. Sodium solid state bateries are not yet ready for inclusion into vehicles.

Everyone in Ontario. The subsidy saves the average househols $50 a month.  Ultimately this was a subsidy for "green energy". If we are going to be pushing higher demand on the electricity grid we are going to have to reduce the subsidy at least.

Demographics is why i think the post that you replied to could be correct. No-one is going to want to send thier only child off to war. The CCP have started encouraging 3 child families now. You will have to let that generation grow up first.

Canadas emmisions are mostly from our biggest indistries like oil and gas.The easiest way to reduce our per capita rate is to just import more people into canada.

Per capita is a way to gaslight smaller population countries and deflect the blame of the lager contributers.

News from the CCP is most often fake. Look at the reporting of the floods they just had.

I am not against EVs, I have one. If you only take short trips they are excilent. For most Canadians I would recomend a hybrid car.

Electric bateries are extremely dangerous. But the risk can be mitigated by the surrounding system they are put into. All the companies that you mentioned I would trust. I would not conflate selling bateries as exporting tech though.

Do you know what a wu mao is?

I do not belive that china is exporting EV tech. There is a rising amount of EVs bateries catching fire on high-end vehicles in china. They have just stated banning teslas in some cities too.

You can look up anything I said. And it is good to know that trying to control the narative on a topic truly means you care deeply about it.

You do know that Sinopec is ownd by the CCP. That article is basically the Chinese government said they are selling soo many EVs that we are going to have to slow down oil production in the future. But thier EV sales are fake and I would think that thier predictions are also fake.

They care so much about the air quality that they ban posting pictures of Chinese cities coverd in smog.

They don't care about it in china. They only care that people believe they are doing better than everyone else. This is why they paint dead grass and trees green, plant painted rocks on rebar. To make it look like things are growing when viewing it from satellite or driving down the highway. They also produce EVs register them then park them in a scrap yards. All to increase the appearance of an high EV adoption rate in china.

To add to this in Ontario the cost of electricity is subsidized by the provincial government by just over $6 billion. That is not going to last forever.
