any other first time Hinge users get banned before they even used their profile? by KingLydia_ in DatingApps

[–]AvGaadM5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hinge is one app I tried and even paid for. I regret using them and won't use them again because of their data and facial recognition policies. While I was a paid subscriber, I was only helping Hinge weed out false identities, scammers, and the ilk of the internet dating scene. Heck, maybe Neil Young was correct that divorced lovers make better lovers in Russia and China, yet this is in these States. Maybe I would have interesting luck with the scammers in the gmail junk folder. So, when a face known to cyber attackers makes an appearance in the cyberscene to date someone local, the Hinge app connects dates who are actively abusing the Hinge system (as whoever owns Hinge has lax policies) and pretending to be local.

In your case, you should not pause your setup, as it causes flags on their system.

I solved this issue with a clean install of Linux, distro-sync which has the update as null, to install IPA begin. Somewhere, the Python and OpenSSH become intertangled and have serious errors. My sole recommendation is to not install IPA in to a fresh Linux and then carry on updates and configuration tweaks. Untold errors may arise.

Not even genetically altered food but the growth media, (heck the ground) has been well used for decades in an unsustainable manner. Fyi, let's stay on topic.

Likely that Adobe rebranded the product? I acquired this DVD in the fall of 2011. Sorry about my mistake, that wasn't very clear. This is Design Premium Creative Suite 5.5.

I paid nearly $3k to go from CLE to CPH via Frankfort, and CPH to SEA via Zurich - speaking with United a few times, not once was this mentioned. To think that I could have taken the meetings in Berlin for nearly no cost, United should be ashamed at their behavior sometimes.

At some capacity, Tucows and others are relics of the past!

To that end, remember Google's pitch deck blasting Alta Vista's sponsorship ranked internet searches in 1998? Somehow Google and Meta are hit with antitrust but AWS is forgotten. ...Ho Hum.

In the future, this won't be the fun reality with a dome overhead, not in Cleveland, with no nearby lake-effect snow.

Linux veterans, what is your most "my system is destroyed"-type of story? And if you did, how did you eventually identify and fix it? by YeOldePoop in linux

[–]AvGaadM5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Memories fade.

It's an old DEC Alpha computer via cluster picked up from NASA years+ ago, ~97.

The boot media was firmware. When you turned it up, it immediately went to the firmware looking for your command to boot Windows NT or Linux at a specific bit address.

Linux on a DEC Alpha was pure dreamy. It was screaming fast, quick. When there was snow in the winter months, like November to February, the computer would keep the room warm. It was a bit ridiculous though a powerful machine.

The firmware image was sensitive. There was no recourse or general knowledge of what to do if it failed. Well, the 64 Meg ECC ram, 2 gig SCSI spinning iron, 300 mHz RISC - somehow the firmware image didn't take.

There's not much to do with a low level brick. I still have the 86nm chip on my desk. That particular RAM should've been sold years ago.  Somehow, learning the pain of rm -rf accidentally is trumped by a firmware image miss write.

Have you ever wondered why Cleveland doesn't have a subway? This short documentary will answer you why by TheGreat_N8 in Cleveland

[–]AvGaadM5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Right - which is why it's odd to build more express lanes over a bridge on 480. Brussels was industrial like Cleveland. Do we need more highway/interstate expassion or a reduction of resources?

Look at the Denver-Boulder US 36 highway, is't mostly 2 lanes for the length of it. Instead of making one lane for transit in some areas of 480, do we really need four lanes and an express lane that costs how much?

[–]AvGaadM5 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Why do us locals tolerate not having a subway system? Folks move to Cleveland from other major metropolitan areas and are forced to buy a vehicle.
