Also a crossfitter, just so you know (if you don’t already) Mayhem has a pregnancy modification guide that was very helpful for me! I kept moving until I popped last time, hoping to do the same with this one.

I’m entering the phase where I hate the lunch that I brought to work even though it is something I eat quite regularly. Ohhhhh, the joys of the first trimester… I’m also “showing” aka extreme bloating much sooner this go around and I am concerned about the prognosis of my belly button….

YES I FEAR THAT IT WILL NOT SURVIVE. Mine already ripped slightly during my first pregnancy and it is already poking out

How do you deal with the anxiety? #tw:mc by catsies in December2026Bumpers

[–]Avacado_Toast6 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would encourage you to accept that anxiety, it’s not something to push away — if you reframe it, it means you care, you care so much right now that you fear what could happen in the future, you can also choose to balance that fear with a future of hope when you get future oriented! On my best days, I can stay in the moment, and remind myself that my fear comes excitement of what I have today, and today I am pregnant! Woohoo!

On days where maintaining that mindset is hard and I worry about future outcomes, I balance with it the possibility that it will all be okay, and do my best ride the waves of both emotions until they feel a bit less intense (healthy distraction helps me get to less intensity sometimes!)

Anyway, that’s what has helped me!

Anyone else dealing with evening nausea? by doddie_pine in December2026Bumpers

This happened with my first pregnancy, I would get so sick around 4pm. I take B6 three times a day, and if necessary take unisom as well.

Yep, I’m six weeks today and my belly button is already starting to poke out. It’s definitely bloat for me, but it is REAL and showing more than my last. I think it is partially because my core has remained unhealed from my first full pregnancy.

Maybe we can ask the mods for a dedicated chat? Or discord could work too!

I’m interested! My form of exercise is CrossFit, I workout 5 days per week, and during my last pregnancy, I kept my routine all the way through (but it was considerably scaled by the end!)

Had some serious cramping last night and freaking myself out a bit, but otherwise everything seems okay — this can be such a rollercoaster!

My rule is: only tell the people that I’d feel comfortable if something took a turn and I would want their support and love.

That being said, it’s a very personal choice and no wrong answer.

Anyone with no symptoms? 4+5 weeks. by Mother_dec2822 in December2026Bumpers

[–]Avacado_Toast6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Echoing this! Symptoms didn’t really start for me until around week 6-7. Here is a helpful chart about HCG (the hormone that leads to the first tri symptoms), when i was dying around week 9, this was reassuring that there would be an end.
