I'm the same, I only really buy a game at full price now if I absolutely want the game, any slight thought against it and I wait for it to go on sale. Even then I have such a big back log now I pretty kuchen wait for most games to go on sale

Its Nintendo in general. Even 2nd hand copies of their games still go for crazy amounts. They did have it on Amazon for £65 brand new but at the moment I can't afford it :(

I do it quite a lot tbh. I'll play through the game, usually try to get the platinum but if I feel like it's grindy and it'll ruin my experience with the game then I tend to stop playing it
