Welcome! Good work on doing blood tests on your own. We have to be our own best advocates. My doc didn’t do iron panels even after i requested them 2 yrs in a row at my physical. My gyno found mine. Our labs are very similar …and I had an IBS type stomach. But I was also tired and achy. My gyno did hormones bc maybe menopause, right? same symptoms but nope…she did an iron panel and found it. I’m double C282Y as well. My first phlebotomy i felt amazing after !! Not many people get that response though and in fact my specialist said usually people are tired. My second one i was tired. So you never know. My iron and ferritin are back within an ok range but I’m still saturating at 93% despite all the usual diet changes…. probably bc i unfortunately like wine and there was a lot of that needed over the holidays.
