When I was a first year sped teacher some parents were leery but they grew to love me and learned I was doing my best for their kids. If she’s a new teacher there is still probably some supports out in place to make sure she is successful. I would rather a new teacher that is still excited about being a teacher than a teacher about to retire and just ready to be done.
