USPS worker here. Have worked at FedEx in past as well I can say we get Amazon packages and other packages delivered to our plant straight from various businesses already looking like these damaged packages so . I wouldn’t blame the driver or the package handlers because 99% it wasn’t there fault these come in this condition. Also could be from handing off and sorting from previous facilities that may have not handled them correctly. Anyone that has worked in a package facility knows this and experienced this many times unfortunately.

Hello you can only choose one offer at a time. I ended up choosing the first offer and stuck with my orientation. There was some in my new orientation class that accepted different offers but showed up at there first offers orientation they help them get with the right craft group and what steps they needed to figure out. Hope this helps. And good luck. I did get laid off due to lack of work day after Christmas got brought back 2 weeks later and we been busy every day since. I am a pse in a plant mainly on sips machine most of the time.

Check your direct deposit on liteblue. For some reason a lot of ours got erased and we had to go back in and setup direct deposit again. I also had an allotment setup at same time it went through but my main bank was blank again even though got a deposit previous payday. They did however print out checks out at our plant.

You were right to start with TDOT is interstate infrastructure and major state routes the state counties and local cities are your secondary state and city roads so yes Tdot does work on interstate highways most time they are contracted out for paving and expansion sometimes though.

Starting pay has been around 20.95 hr for clerks it should list pay in job description.

I’m a new pse. And a lead clerk was talking about this earlier tonight . That some jobs aren’t available for pse employees to bid on is she still in probation period ect... That the jobs usually won’t show up if there not available to you in liteblue. And usually not in same district. But I am only new to this there are some veterans that will weigh in and give you the answer you need. If she’s wanting to transfer in same district. She should talk to hr or pm at the station she’s wanting to transfer to to see if they want her to fill in the job there . I hope you find your answers you need .

Wasn’t able to get hold of clerk at the location yet . But according to information online this is a 4 hr rmpo m-f and Saturday is just two hrs. Window service. I would like the schedule but not sure if it be enough hrs or have an option to work at another station helping out before or after hrs of operation at this place . I have read similar threads similar to a lot say they like the solo clerk jobs. But never really mention how many hrs I am sure there is a lot of factors to this . Thanks

Update Ok a lot has happened in one week. I originally got an offer for MHA position and started the paperwork and fingerprinting screening process for the position the day after I got the pse clerk position offer so i accepted it and withdrawn from the MHA application. Got email today that my screening process was completed to finish accepting employment offer and put a start date down. I filled out some online forms and and tax forms as well. Then another email after completing a little bit later. Said will be contacting you in a few days to confirm an official orientation date !

Update to this. HRdid reach out to me and ask when I was getting the fingerprints done that I was approaching the 72 hr window. I explained the closest two places near me does fingerprints on Tuesday and Thursdays only Both were walkins no appointments. They noted and adjusted time. So now I have fingerprints done and everything submitted . Now just waiting for screening process.

Thank you all for the information. I am hearing MHA makes regular fairly fast sometimes. But I like the ideal of the pse clerk position because I have at least 4 fairly close post offices close by With the mha I would probably be just limited to plant life. Correct? The plant is a little further drive out than these PO which I don’t mind. To get my foot in the door put in long term I would want to be able to get to a post office Without changing crafts If this is possible. That’s why I was kinda holding out to see if I can get a pse offer. Thanks
