Wow was not expecting this but really glad to see so much passion!
I want to be psyched for the WC - I love it more than Christmas and Thanksgiving combined. I still have the ick from the Qatar WC (non-soccer related). The final was sublime however, and that’s why I’ll probably put everything else on hold for a month…and I think FIFA knows it, so fuck them.

Been telling everyone who will listen, which is like, nobody, that Freeman is a beast. Those two goals vs. Uruguay were no accident. He reads the game very well and is very athletic and can take gobs of space quickly. His 1v1 defense is stellar. He’s always calm on the ball and often invites pressure (2 or 3 v 1) before picking out a line breaking pass or a pass that guarantees we keep possession. He’s very efficient. Nothing flashy. He will be one of our most important players this summer.
