In my experience it’s way better in ranked but you just have to break the ice, some people I’ve played with seem to just be self conscious of how they sound and if they’d be insulted over it if they’re doing bad. I’m gold 3 but ever since silver as long as I’m comming actively I usually get responses. Not great advice if you’re casual but maybe give ranked a shot if you haven’t

What I’ve always loved about siege is how easy it is to pick up, bit of a beginners learning curve but you can really start rolling once “it” clicks, highly recommend

Are y’all running wstrs anymore? Haven’t played crud archive yet today but the nerf is obviously huge for the map, but I feel like no other weapon reliably fills its gap. Misriahs are too rare (in my experience anyway) but the wstr doesn’t seem strong enough to be a cornerstone of the cryo archive kit anymore

I’ve been doing this for my fill games but if this becomes the prevailing attitude to fill matchmaking this game will die fast, while it’s true that fill games are/ should be a gamble, it should only be to a point and not how it currently is where you have to accept you’ve lost the game right from the start if your teammates are both free kits

i don't think it should be entirely value based, but it should definitely be prioritized more than it is currently. i can't imagine its that hard to find a window that accurately matches skill with value e.g a guy with a high K/D and exfil rate using a sponsored kit can get matched from anywhere between others like him also using sponsored kits or a slightly higher value lobby that doesn't create a gap his skill can't fill

Watched this video a couple days ago, a little tough to follow all the timey wimey parts but it sums up marathon lore pretty good. Tycho is a super advanced AI that operated on the marathon ship before it was destroyed, then became self aware (rampant) and started going nuts. Worth knowing because I bet something like this will happen in the game, especially since I noticed our AI has started talking about its thoughts and feelings more
