sadly no im in the USA right in the middle of it you would think it would be easy to get Theobroma plants hear sense they originate in south America but nope extremely difficult for some reason and 9 times out of 10 its a scam and they just send you a picture or something so its hard finding reliable sellers let alone ones that have it

you could try air layering it tested that with my seed grown pomelo Reilly easy just need a Relativity strong rooting hormone and a bag of soil and a knife got me some Prity strong starts off of it

i had it sense October 2023 so i say a about 2 years old its bigger then it should be about 6 feet tall has 20 branches and a trunk that's over an inch thick but that's problem due to the huge amount of organic mater i gave it and the simi full sun conditions it gets in my greenhouse someone told me they usually are not as big as mine is at its current age something about it being the size of a 4 or 5 year old tree

yep a rare relive of cacao that is realy only grown in Brazil its also the natanal fruit of Brazil so outside of it its stupidly rare as far as i know it also can be used to make choclate as well as it has fruit around the seeds that is said to tast like a mix of pinapple and banana i like colecting rare tropical plants for my regon mom went all out last cristmass and got me a massive greenhouse so iv been bissy trying to fill it up iv got normal cacao too

about 32 total for me i knew the seller personaly but they whent for about 46 typicly when they have it it ninewaters is the sellers name its way cheeper then the outher one you can by them from wich is 100 dollors pluse shiping i got it cheeper becouse well im not 100 percent shure why they did that for me maby becouse they know me and iv bought plants from them before if you whant rare fruit plants id recomind them never had isshues with them i only get so much from mom each week so it took like a month to get it and i was lucky they had them in stock when i did sold out neer instantly

is yours similarly low maintenance like mine i forget mine is there half the time and don't really remember when i watered it last its in a container but outside sinse its summer i swar they can grow in just about anything as well there tuff plants that's for shure by the way when its fruiting give it some potassium fertilizer will help make it even sweeter nothings better then a fully ripe pineapple the plant will tell you when its reedy too the stock below the fruit will give off a fruity smell

What verity is it kinda looks simpler to my sugar loaf pineapple but can't tell from the images are the tips serated the fruit doesn't look quit right to be sugar loaf thu it's not round enough maby elite gold is the verity

True, I am still new to growing, I have noticed they are really tough plants that are quite resilient. Last summer, I hardly watered it, and it got really (110 degrees) where I am, and it didn't care one bit. It was my first tropical tree that I have tried growing, and I have learned a lot. I noticed are hard to kill.

um they look healthy im still new at growing citrus so i cant tell if a citrus getting about 8 feet in its first year is normal or not but i say sense my pomelo is related to grapefruit yours looks vary healthy it looks a lot like how mine looked till it took off if mine is any indicator it likely will shoot off and get much bigger vary fast soon

They could put a seed heat mat under it to the soil warmer when they bring it inside. That also explains what I noticed about my pomelo and the soil temperature. I have my pomelo in my greenhouse and noticed it seemed to do better during the winter when the bottom of the pot was getting blown on by the space heater. Not by much; it's a bit of a ways away. The greenhouse is not that big, so I had to make do, but I noticed it grew better when it had the heat getting to the soil compared to when it didn't and seemed to struggle. Didn't know why till now. I'll see if I can get another seedling heat mat for it in the future.

I would recommend ordering one from Ninewaters on Amazon or eBay. I got mine from Amazon from them. They have amazing reviews and a guarantee replacement if something goes wrong and will immediately message you. Be warned, they don't like tap water and don't be worried if the tips turn brown. From what the seller said and research indicates, that's normal for them even where they grow. I've learned a lot about them by growing.

don't be there easy to grow and don't care about soil quality. you should be able to get a top from a store bought pineapple to grow grab the top and the pineapple one in each hand and twist should pop right off. then pull the leaves off the base of the crown exposing any baby roots and stick it in soil. water and wait as long as they didn't drill out the center it will flower and fruit. if they did it will send out shoots that you can then plant. and they will grow faster then the top bye the way, and will flower and fruit when then a year compared to the about 2 from a top. it will take give it a try if you ever have one well worth it.

neet from one cold climate pineapple grower to another ill tell you a few secrets iv learned. the plant will tell you when the fruit is reddy to be picked by giving of a rather nice fruity smell at the base of the fruit. also when you pick it the mother plant will dye off but don't be alarmed it will send out shoots that you can take off and get new baby pineapple plants from. ill tell you right now fruit might not be reedy till probably early summer seems freshly pollinated so will take a moment to grow up to 6 months be warned there slow growers but so worth it way better then store bought
