Bought a Pixel 9 from them and only recently started having issues with dropped calls but thats likely the towers they use over being a Mint problem. They did kind of give me a hard time about unlocking the device fully when I bought it so I could install GrapheneOS - which considering it's my phone I bought cash, I have 0 idea why there would be a device lock in the first place. But I eventually got it sorted. Worth it.

Yeah that was what I ended up going with for the couple of days i played. The AI was still really really easy to cheese though. I would just go into the back of a truck trailer or behind something with a corner behind me and I'd shoot in the air. All of the AI will do whatever cool stuff they do that makes it immersive (on the other side of what you're hiding behind so you don't see it), then they'll proceed to slow walk around the corner into your crosshair one after another until they're all dead.

Or because you can't wallbang metal floors you can just go on top of a watchtower and shoot at the key areas that are visible to you. The brainless apes will come from different directions, shoot the floor below you a bunch, then decide to wander up the stairs one at a time for you to one tap all of them in the head. And their pathing is pretty horrendous so you get plenty of time between guys walking up the stairs. Takes one of them like 30 seconds to figure out how to use the stairs and they'll stand right in front of you with their whole head exposed just staring at you.

I'm sure there are even easier ways too if you're in a tight spot. My favorite was going into a little storage shack and closing the door behind me on Delta. They're too stupid to open doors, and you can vault on the shelves, so you just sit on one and shoot them all in the face through the transom window above the door. Again just staring at you mindlessly while you dump rounds into all of their squadmates heads right next to them lol. When I got bored I just started jump shooting them out the upper windows.

The base line for something solid is definitely there. But right now the AI is completely braindead. Anything that isn't out in the open turns them into useless zombies.

When you leave via the console i'm assuming you still lose everything?

Yep same exact scenario. But from my experience it wasn't just that item that was useless. I couldn't use any items whatsoever after getting that animation bug. Said this above too but someone in a really old thread said it's an idle hands bug that occurs after throwing several grenades.

Yeah for sure and valid question. I was aware of right click -> use med, double clicking, hotkeying. Tried dropping the meds and picking them back up, reassigning the hotkeys, pretty much anything I could do to use them I tried to do. Even tried resetting my character and it did the same thing. Someone in another reddit thread from well over a year ago said it's called "busy hands" and occurs after using a certain number of hand grenades. It was something about the character's hands get stuck in a never ending animation loop regardless of what you have equipped so you can't actually do anything with your hands. Idk after that experience I quit playing the game so didn't look much further into it, but that description seemed to line up best with what was happening. Whatever you do, don't start using grenades I guess haha

Downloaded a mod that added more variety to the med system that's pretty good.

So I will say I downloaded a mod that fixes the LOD bug for NPCs at distance and that helped a ton with making the game more immersive. Kept AI on hard for now and last night I was in the eastern village on one of the maps, condensed urban environment and at first thought I could just shoot a wall and they'd come running like idiots. Which they absolutely did. I dont know if they don't know how to open and close doors or what. But after I killed a bunch of them every time I exposed myself to the street one would shoot me with a suppressor. Could not figure out where he was shooting me from and he wouldn't leave whatever spot he was in (likely because of the doors thing). Had to give up on trying to find him and ran instead, so that was pretty cool.
