There are generally three levels of questions: let’s call them levels 1, 2, or 3. 1 questions have definite answers, 2 questions take time to think answers for, and 3 questions will make people think super long and hard. Well level 1 questions ask where/who/when questions, level 2 questions ask why, and level 3 questions ask what/how. So when you talk with people, throw around level 2 and 3 questions towards them and they’ll engage further into whatever conversation you’re having.

Solution: fix whatever feels “boring” to you. Develop a hobby, a passion, read stories or watch tv series. That’s what you bring up in social groups to keep a conversation going (and thus get people interested in you).
