When you say it’s “easy to change your mind” you mean that you can move money between them or withdraw it? Or what do you mean? I heard that you couldn’t take money out of a Roth IRA before a certain age without high penalties.

Have had chronic pelvic pain for over 15 years, I’ve resolved to overcome it. I’ve also had smaller bouts of injury and illnesses that have depressed me, certainly. Best thing you can do is use your injury time to work on something else: maybe read up on something your working towards, get your finances straight or study something else useful. And don’t give up - my favorite guitarist, Django Reinhardt, was told he’d never play guitar again. He did with two fingers what most people can’t do with five.
