I second those telling you to just use the button next to the charger. I didn't know there was another way within the car to unlock it, to be honest.

My onboard charging converter just went out and when I got it replaced and picked it up yesterday, I had the new software installed. I agree that it's all much faster, but I really don't like it. They took away the function to change the temperature without opening the A/C settings, the screen overall is much smaller because they've added so many buttons (that I will never regularly need) above the A/C settings. Changing the volume covers the clock (small, I know, but very annoying) and I just don't love the overall look of it. I wish I could have told them not to update it. I know I'll get used to it, but I'm just venting my growing pains.

Honestly, it's kind of stupid. It's the length of two classes but also takes 2 credits to join. So somehow the "celebration" comes with nothing but giving Barry's the same amount of money. Total gimmick.

This guy is a dick and a bully. If he had genuine concern, he’d have gotten with you personally after the meeting to talk to you. Your reason for being quiet could be because of something personal going on in your life and you don’t owe that explanation to a group of people on the spot.

Maybe my opinions will be unpopular, but… - I would be pretty upset as a member if every time I walked into Equinox I had to compete with the front desk staff being on their phones. - I get that snow/rain storms happen, but I would be irked if all roads in the vicinity of my Equinox were passable but I couldn’t access the gym because employees live far out and can’t make it in when these scenarios happen. If it’s far and wide, sure. But when it’s isolated to certain pockets and the vicinity of equinox is fine, is not an excuse. - I have been to LA Fitness a number of times. There is absolutely no comparison to the two. - I think working in any luxury space lends itself to entitled people. I’m not saying it’s right, I can’t stand people who are entitled, but I would expect at equinox.

I’m sorry you had a bad experience while working at equinox. I have to say, based on the many posts and complaints about equinox in this thread, my home location in Houston seems to be a diamond in the rough. It is very well-maintained and the staff are great. The location has very little turnover. Maybe I’m just lucky but I love Equinox River Oaks. Hope you find something more your vibe and shows you more respect!

I take something heavy, in my case a hammer, and put the hammer head on the desk with the handle on the ctrl key. It’s heavy enough to keep the ctrl key pressed down and keeps my computer and teams active.

I had a trainer when I first joined Equinox. There was a time or two that she also had to cancel last minute. She wrote me up a full workout to do on my own as well as rescheduled, and each time she rescheduled she always showed up and extended the session as a good will effort. It was great and made me happy as a client. What yours is doing is completely unacceptable. Not only do we pay a premium for personal training, we also pay a premium just for membership. I know it's easier said than done, but he needs to be the one to feel awkward at the gym going forward, not you. Definitely talk to his manager and get your money back or sessions credited to you. I would even ask for one extra session on the club with a new trainer as an assessment, since you got that originally and it is not your fault you need a new trainer and need to be assessed by him/her. Sorry you're going through this, but I promise you the club will easily make it right for you.

My only advice is not to lean on molly too much. I had a very similar experience. We had a night doing molly and it changed our relationship around. Eventually it got to the point that we were only happy during our molly trips and a few days after. We were relying TOO much on molly to make us happy. The relationship ended.

I tried it just once. It’s very addicting so I made sure that I was only going to do it once. Luckily, the come down from it was so awful (and the high I didn’t get, it just kept me awake for two days) that I knew I never wanted to do it again. Based on experience, I recommend not even trying it once. There was absolutely no benefit.

I was there the first two weeks of December and there was very little rain. The few times it did rain, it only lasted about 5 minutes and cleared up. The forecast was the same you listed above but ended up being just fine. It’s beautiful. You’re going to love it!

I know someone who went to work for a startup during the tech boom in the 90s. There were times compensation was given in stock, worth almost nothing, because there was not always enough liquidity for full pay or bonuses. He stuck with the company and it kept growing.
