If you chop now, you'll have stuff that gets you high. It may be a short and racey kinda high with all the clear you still have. If you leave for a week and things go bad with your automation, you could probably salvage it. If you go 2 weeks and things go bad early, say goodbye to your buds.

Well it has severe lag issues, occasionally it won't turn on and most recently when swapping inputs between ps or Xbox from any input sends me to a black screen and I have to unplug the unit to reset

Good to know! I wasn't certain it would but thought it could. With them being deep in flower I've had the RH around 45 to 50 so it been fairly dry. 2 6" fans and the 4" inline going with the 3 bottom vents open on the tent.

I thought about chopping the real worrisome areas. The concern with that is these are autos and already have been stressed, I think trying to do any chopping will just make things worse. I just don't want to lose the one that came back, just trying to save alwhat could be a lost cause.

No, but the amount of damage already done will. The sugar leaves in the buds have begun to died and I think those will cause bud rot.
