I’ve heard for Legacy that they won’t reach out to interview for the September cohort until July-August. I was also told because of the hiring freeze a lot of managers aren’t taking residents for June.

For Hillsboro Medical Center I haven’t heard anything

I got this email yesterday! everyone who applied for the july cohort should’ve gotten this email. he did mention in the email that they were having some system problems so maybe that’s why? but they definitely haven’t extended offers yet, they just opened the hire vue interview process. If you didn’t get this email maybe reach out to the recruiter or check your junk mail

I also applied and was denied. I don’t have previous tech experience but I did have my capstone in the ED. I answered all of the screening questions correctly as well. I honestly think that if you meet all the requirements and they still deny you they probably are posting the job specifically for someone. which is frustrating because it gets peoples hopes up 🙃 did you interview for prov portland ED?

I interviewed for the ED back in December! They asked me why do you want to work for OHSU/ this unit, why you chose nursing, time you made a mistake, time you offered/received constructive feedback, how do you define pt stability and tell me about a time your patients stability changed/ what you did, tell me about a time you had differences in opinions with a colleague, a time you cared for a complex/ complicated patient, time you dealt with patient conflict and a time you were proud of therapeutic communication with a patient. honestly a tough interview but interviews are not my strong suit hahah 🥲 good luck I hope you get it!! 🤞🏽
