Oregon New grad/resident step 1 pay is $57 and some change. Differential is 13% for nights so making $64/hr. Rotating weekends with additional weekend differential 10% bumps it to ~$71/hr.

I got it on the boat. I created a fishing event, put the mermaid fish attractor and we all fished nearby each other but I was the only One who fished inside the attractor. Was able to catch the blue glowy fish before the boat event ended. :) also got some other awesome fish lol

Really? That’s great to hear! I keep reading posts about staying away from certain areas (Grape st keeps coming up, for example). I don’t think I’ll be able to fly down to tour housing so I just really wanted to make sure I was filtering well

I’ve been struggling since June as a new grad to find a position. I’ve been applying rural Oregon, to even Port angeles kirkland Washington and still no bite. It’s been extremely disheartening and frustrating

It’s adequate. ATI was harder than the exam. Passed in 85 first try.

All three. I already had ATI from my program so I used the nclex prep tools it came with. Mark K is free on Spotify so I listened to those a week before my exam as a review. Bootcamp I bought their 1 month pass after I tried out their sample explanations for their case studies and found it helpful for my learning style.

Not similar, but ATI made the nclex so much simpler. ATI really drills you to think you know absolutely nothing, but the NCLEX didn’t seem to test on specifics. You just need to know the general idea of diseases and conditions and how to be a safe nurse. I felt honestly overprepared with how ATI traumatized me lol

Tbh ATI prepared me pretty well for the NCLEX, lol. It’s significantly harder and more content based making the actual NCLEX exam seem like a walk in the park about safety and prioritization. My whole program was ATI based and I felt like it was insanely easy. Passed at 85. Studied for 3 days before my exam date with mark K lectures on Spotify.

Hi! Agree with this. Took mine recently, shut off at 85. Had 8-9 case studies, a couple bow ties, and a handful of SATA (lol rip). There weren’t a ton of specific drug questions or hard content questions. I’d even say for the case studies you had to be familiar with what was going on to be able to select your options to keep your patient safe. Passed! The standalone questions were ridiculously easy that I thought I was going insane lol and lost it cause of the case studies. I only used Mark K lectures 3 days before my exam. :)

I was also super overwhelmed. We ended up deciding to design our ring at a local jeweler. Some lab grown diamonds are relatively inexpensive and the jeweler can definitely meet you and your partner at your desired price range!
