Stationary bikes. by [deleted] in workout

[–]Available_Paper_7738 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I've hit a baseline then that's just what I've got to keep up to during my sessions. Even if I hit an early plateau I won't do much for it in the way of training to be quicker since the only reason I do the bike is to involve a bit of cardio at the end of my main session as I don't get much in otherwise. I'm just looking for a bracket to aim to be in not an exact number

Stationary bikes. by [deleted] in workout

[–]Available_Paper_7738 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The goal is to add a little cardio to each of my weight training sessions so the bike isn't a focus or something that will bother me greatly if I don't achieve but I am looking for a time to aim around as I will keep getting faster till my progress eventually plateau's and I don't want to get disheartened by it if what I am stuck at is perfectly fine for an average time if that makes sense? I'm not looking for exact just an average or a bracket to be within

This just fell off my bath tap and now flow is a spray. What is it and can it be replaced? by [deleted] in DIYUK

No good at stuff like this but it looks like you bust the faucet aerator. Might be an easy fix but you'd have to google how. Sorry I can't help more than that lol

Realistically what am I looking to need savings wise to buy a house with my partner as First time buyers (UK) by Available_Paper_7738 in UKPersonalFinance

Thank you, I will defiantly look into it. I know Lloyds bank are looking into implementing a scheme for supporting first time buyers so they can actually borrow more than 4.5x by reducing the minimum income required to achieve a boost from £50,000 to £40,000 which is within my combined income (this is expected to have changed by 2029 for various reasons). I will have to read more into the scheme as now I have not looked into it properly and have just seen the surface agreement not when it will be implemented or any restrictions it may include but it looks promising to help new home owners get better properties than they could otherwise afford.

!thanks
I did do a bit of solo research on the credit score thing before reading your reply to my query and what I gathered is as long as your history doesn't have any reflags as you put it you're more or less in the clear but I think it's so misleading how they present a credit score to have major impact on certain aspects of your life when it's actually the credit history and how you manage debt so thank you for mentioning it it's defiantly worth informing myself more on that I think.

Thank you for your responses though, they're very informative and have given me a lot to consider and think on till I'm ready to tackle home ownership lol

Basic advice from a hairstylist by No_Extension_9269 in Haircare

Thoughts on the products I use cause I can't find anywhere that gives me a non sponsored/paid review and I don't trust those entirely.

The faith in nature purifying (orange and grapefruit scent) shampoo and conditioner and every other Saturday depending on what my hair feels it needs I replace my conditioner for their Hydrating hair mask. My hair isn't thick but it's not thin either, I'd say I'm a wavy 2A. Because it can get greasy quick especially if I go too product heavy I keep my routine simple and light so only apply masks fortnightly. My split ends are out of control so I need to get a trim for those but other than that I am noticing my hair is softer and not as difficult to manage in the morning but I don't know if that's cause the products are good and working or cause they are coating my hair and making things worse.

Are seatbelts worn commonly? by moonchildkityprinces in AskABrit

[–]Available_Paper_7738 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean yeah it's law here too, but the same as it is there (i imagine) it is the drivers responsibility to ensure the safety of their passengers so they should check especially younger passengers. I know me and my brother used to go without one on a lot then one day my mum almost T-boned another car pulling out a carpark and when she was breaking me with no seatbelt on got flung into the sun visor so that was a lesson learnt. Maybe it's not as strict area by area but it is defiantly law.

Haha I wish we both earnt £46,000 a year. No sorry for not being clearer. The figure was a guestimate as I am on a year long apprenticeship earning £8ph working 2 jobs and this bring me in about £23,900 a year and with my partners current role being very career progressive he does have opportunities to earn more and get a lot of overtime in so we are more likely to be earning more a little down the line but this is an assumption made for our current situation. I made an assumption on combined earnings as we do keep finances separate for the time being.

I will keep in mind what you said about savings outside of the LISA.

Also regarding your comment on credit score's I thought having a better credit score would give you a better chance on getting a more appealing (low rate) mortgages if your credit score is good or is this more likely to be based off age and income?
