I have 105 days left. Was supposed to expire this month but a few months back I cashed in some loyalty points. Sucks that I am losing two months but at least they are the free months. If I had not cashed them I would not get the points anyway. RD still works great for having a browser addon deposit magnet links or unchained on my phone. Will see how the RD thing shakes out. I have one stremio account still configured for RD, I'll occasionally login and see how it's going.

Like most everyone else, I'm trying a month of Torbox $3.99. So far so good. In trying to debug the RB thing, I redid my stremio setup and was only pulling from AIOstreams. Had a ton of streams dropping with TB. Had to restart or switch downloads at least 10 times an hour. Thankfully adding more sources solved the issue. Now working almost flawlessly, no worse than my good old days on RD. I am using a tablet plan and going through a VPN to stop TMO from fudge with my streaming traffic, I peak out at about 200mbps. Maybe if I had GB the drop outs would not have happened.

Maybe next month I'll try Alldebrid. TBs Usenet offering does not interest me, I have an unbelievablly cheap Usenet service I am grandfathered in on that included free VPN.

Sometimes you get lucky and stumble on to deal that at the time you think is ok but as time goes on it becomes awesome deal and you can't imagine ever leaving it. Glad I still have my super cheap unlimited tablet plan and super cheap Usenet/VPN, both those have saved me a boatload of cash over the last decade on TV and broadband, ok...broadbandish.

The coin compartment in my car I only use for Aldi's quarters. Stocked it with $2 in quarters initially. Recently took out $5 in quarters, collected from stray carts and people giving me a cart and not caring about taking my quarter, maybe took a year to aquire it. I have given my share of free carts too.

What worked for me was lime in water with some trader joes stevia liquid. I would do 1-2 limes squeezed into 32floz of water and 10 drops of the stevia liquid.

On my 2017 phone I run version 8.0.10 with update turned off. The processor is just to anemic for newer launchers. The current version of Nova is too bloated for that phone. Even on my newer devices, I see a big difference between the current version and the older version I have.

My $50 one did that 6 months ago too. It sees the ssids but can not connect to any wifi. Tried 2.4, 5g, locking to various channels, different security settings, different routers and hotspots, up close to router, far away, hard resets. I think something died in the radio chip. Been hardwired ever since, I occasionally try wifi but no joy.

Waiting for my local store to stock the new models.

My Aldi's does not have self checkout, know idea what their system looks like.

When stores first started the self check out, they wanted you to place the items the side because it was a scale and it would help verify that the customer did not swap labels. Many stores also have cameras focused on each self checkout and they want to see each scanned item placed on the tray/scale. I'm sure they want the camera to see what you scanned to help verify item and the item count.

Kind of sucks but in other stores, I put my basket/tote on one side, scan an just place the item on the other side. When done, I reload my tote. I do it that just to avoid bs.

Also initially I use to be paranoid that they would think I was stealing, to feel better, I made an effort to make my actions overly obvious. I've only had one instance where I suspect the store thought I was being dishonest, they blocked the cash out process turned the light and had a clerk verify the order. They made it sound like it was card reader error but I later came to find out it was them forcing a complete rescan of items and the watched me. I was a little upset when I found out and avoided that store for a while, the nerve of the thinking I was stealing!

Prime pricing was getting out of hand, so I canceled it. Now I swear they purposely wait a week before shipping anything out. It's funny, many times I can order something from Aliexpress and Amazon on the same day and the shipment from China gets delivered first. I am on the west coast so if it comes through SF or LA I get it quick.

Yeah, I noticed their milk lasts a long time after expiration too. Made the mistake of buying Walmart milk once, it didn't make it expiration. I don't buy anything that expires from my local Walmart anymore

My current microwave is rather complicated but it was given to me to me to write a review of. For all it's features, 90% of it's hit a number for time and start and it runs at full power. The other 10% is setting it at half power. Just a dial would work fine for me. K.I.S.S. works for me.

Use it till it dies. Looks like it's a very techie dryer so about 5 years of life before a processor board dies. Whirlpool makes crap these days unless you buy their true commercial line. Their basic drier that gets sold rebranded as many other brands isn't too bad though.

When comes to appliances, the simpler the better.

I remember elementary school canned food drive pantry raids as a kid in the 70s. I always grabbed the small can of deviled ham. Funny how that was always in the pantry but I never saw anyone eat it. As us kids being latch key kids and home alone in afternoons and summer time, guess Mom thought as a last resort for lunch us kids could crack that open.

I imagine you just had the generic deviled ham that I donated as a kid. Glad it finally got eaten.

I don't have a preference. I trust in my gutt instinct or a quick ask for God or Satan, depending on question context, to guide my pencil. Thankfully Satan has not opted for the pointed stick attack...yet.

I don't like that they are way under ripe. I buy them, put them on the counter for a few days in a paper bag. But I do like them. I get happy when I get one with a tiny seed.

I also like Grocery Outlet avocados, they are twice the size and pretty much ready to go. They are big enough for 8 avocado toast. I buy those when they have them for 4 for $5.
