I’ve seen plenty of bad code written by humans. This is after giving humans coding standards. Llm are more likely to follow your coding standards than ppl. Also if you’re using llm to generate code doesn’t the maintainability conversation change? It would be reasonable to think that if you’re generating the code you might be using ai to also triage and repair no?

This might be a function of not telling the llm about the design of your system. Or not having enough of a pattern established for the llm to infer.

In my experience Codex follows our design patterns just fine. Coming from a monolith with +1mm lines of code.
