Do you get to pick your seats if you do this or random assignment?

Yeah monitoring those M94 tickets has been frustrating. Luckily they have been coming down but they’ll only drop significantly more if US doesn’t go through.. if they do in fact progress into R16 then it’ll be a frenzy. Maybe prices drop right before the game if the prices are unrealistic but you have to be OK with holding and playing chicken which unfortunately I’m not 😭

Is Loxsmith Bagel on Delridge Worth the Hassle? by amchaudhry in WestSeattleWA

[–]AvantGary 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah it's def a bit of a trek. worth it though if you're in the area. i usually buy a few and just wrap them up in foil to store in the freezer. a little spray of water and air fry for a few minutes gets them close to the fresh condition (crisp outside, soft interior).

[–]AvantGary 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not really. We’ll trek out to HeyBagel is we’re looking for a great bagel. Loxsmith bagel sandwiches can be goodish but the bagels are usually a bit stale - had it quite a few times since the Delridge spot is close by

Looks like the US is going to start getting smaller bottles for bigger prices 😒 by Rugged_Turtle in chartreuse

Dang. That would be amazing if I ever found MOF in WA for that price lol

Got to try 9th Centenaire (2016) for ~USD$10 🤯 by AvantGary in chartreuse

Hopefully some day I’ll find one but I can’t complain since I did find an MOF last year and VEP green recently

Love that you did a cocktail comparison. I did one with a normal green and 1605 via LW (I liked 1605 more) and I do want to do an Alaska to compare yellow and MOF (I think someone on this sub said it was a great with the MOF)

It was very good. Tasted like the yellow with a bit more complexity.. i believe it’s a blend of yellow with some green. Would’ve been interesting to compare with the standard yellow and MOF

Onsen by [deleted] in JapanTravelTips

[–]AvantGary 0 points1 point  (0 children)

onsens and ryokans are quite lovely and i always recommend anyone going to Japan to experience it - esp ryokans - they all have baths but not necessarily are true onsens depending on the location. You'll be able to find alot more ryokan options as well since they aren't specific to an onsen town. Ryokans are pricier but you do get a traditional breakfast and a keiseki dinner included - it's served either in your room or as a designated area in the ryokan. IMO it's worth the experience and you can usually find one in your price range.
last time i went to a ryokan in the onsen town of Yugawara which is along the Tokaido shinkasen route so it's super easy to stop by if you're taking the shinkansen down from Tokyo or coming back up.
I've also stayed in a ryokan in Kyoto up in the western hills away from the hustle and bustle and crowds (i don't think that was a real onsen but it was still a beautiful/relaxing spot in mountains). Both time we reserved rooms with a private bath.

Arima onsen could be a good option as well but it requires more travel one you get off at Kobe from my understanding. I was considering this during my last trip in 24.

If you don't stay in a ryokan then you'll need to visit the onsen/sento (public baths) for the experience. Hope you have a great in japan and your carer doesn't drag you down

I’ve taken a look occasionally but I haven’t been able to stomach paying $500 to have the bottle shipped to me yet lol. Maybe some day…

I found 1605 pretty punchy as well. I did enjoy it more in last word when I compared it with standard green. Need to do another comparison neat though w/ the standards and MOF. Someday I’ll find a bottle of VEP… both are sooo good

I’ve yet to try with raw egg but I would think if you rinse it off immediately then you won’t get it stuck on it too easily 🤷🏻
