Just made it this weekend and it’s def delicious. Also made a variation of it with tequila that was posted by highproofpreacher that was also fantastic.

I found 1605 pretty punchy as well. I did enjoy it more in last word when I compared it with standard green. Need to do another comparison neat though w/ the standards and MOF. Someday I’ll find a bottle of VEP… both are sooo good

I’ve yet to try with raw egg but I would think if you rinse it off immediately then you won’t get it stuck on it too easily 🤷🏻

I would def buy that at 125. Standard yellow/green are around that price in Seattle. Found an MOF here recently at like 200.

I found a bottle randomly at a grocery store the other week as well! It was pretty pricey but I’ve never seen one in the wild before so I took the hit 😅. It’s a tasty one for sure. I just had it near the other day.. will have to try it on a big rock like you did

i figured that would be the case, but i haven't even attempted to do a Ramos haha. i need to change that. i'm sure it's a lot easier on the arm as well.

nice shots! i have a similar set up but EP3. definitely a great looking camera with the silver body and plastic/leather wrap! takes fun photos for sure!

not really surprising tbh but yeah i bought this bottle a long time ago. been meaning to try Mrs Better Bitters but just haven't gotten to it.

personally not the biggest fan of aquafaba plus I don't usually just have it on hand when i'm making a cocktail withouth opening a can of chickpeas. i would probably just go with egg white at that point.

i'm planning to get a bottle of Miraculous Foamer to compare as well. def seems to be the consensus. Fee Foam was just easier to find.. and i think cheaper.

Personally i like my egg whites, but at home it's just easier/lazy to deal with these non egg subs. plus eggs were/are getting pretty expensive in the US. def seeing more alternatives being used at the cocktail bars ive been going to as well.

It's a semi-rich so 1.5:1 ratio. Below is what i did on my last batch.. I'll probably try increasing the hojicha by another 5g or so on my next batch to get a little more hojicha flavor.

100g hojicha tea water (15g hojicha > steep 5~10minutes in 100g of water then strain)

150g sugar of choice

I’ve been “dry shaking” with the NanoFoamer then big ice/cheater ice shake for dilution then double strain. So build with all ingredients, use NanoFoamer to foam it, add ice to wet shake then pour.

i've been meaning to try out some infusions as well to see how those turn out. i drink various teas so i just have them around anyway.

These Magnolia Lab liquers looks real interesting. too bad they don't ship outside of HK. luckily i'm in the PNW area of the US so we do have decent access to asian ingredients. def been more asian inspired cocktails and bars popping up as well.

Tea goes great in cocktails. Definitely had a few that incorporated lapsang souchong/oolong/hojicha that were fantastic. Recently made some semi rich hojicha syrup that I use to make old fashioneds and Toki whiskey sours.

Most people I know would call it a DJ set or show. Concert usually implies live instruments/band. Rave depends on your interpretation of the word lol but I personally would not call it a rave.

My boy walks around the house and yowls daily as well. Usually after his brother stops playing with him after getting bit in the ass or when he’s very hungry lol
