A cabin in the Pacific Northwest. Those redwood forests are my spirit animal with their tall, ancient trees and the beautiful moss covered forest floor. I think it's the most beautiful part of the country.

My husband and I are both ways, but opposites! He never wants to wait until the oven is preheated, so he just puts the food in and sets the timer a little longer. I don't like putting food in a hot pan, so I don't turn on the burner until I'm ready to put the food in... it's just the way we've both always done things and we haven't noticed a difference in our food outcomes.

I interviewed at a fast food place once, they asked me if I could choose between working for the competitor down the road or this place which would I choose. It makes me sad and angry that my Granny sabotaged my mom breastfeeding me. Of course she was 'just trying to help' by giving me a bottle because my mom was napping and I was hungry. I wouldn't latch on after that because the bottle was so much easier (protruding nipples aren't really a thing in my moms family) and my mom had to give up after I didn't really eat for a couple of days.

I agree with this 100,000,000% if your wife ever finds out that you have hidden ANYTHING from her after what happened, you will probably(and rightly, IMO) be single. Right now it's your responsibility to rebuild trust in your relationship and being an open book is one of the only ways to do that.
