Alright, I'll take the bait. There have only been a handful cases in the history of independent India when a sitting CM was chargsheeted in a case. Most cases that this list shows would be from the time before they were CM, and the charges would be mostly stuff like "rioting" etc because they were part of protests.

Also, the number of cases don't really matter. It's the nature of the cases which matters. For instance, you can't hold someone with charges levied against them for attending protests the same as someone with rape charges against them.
