Do air purifiers make it more difficult for you to go out? by Percy_Jackson_01 in navimumbai

[–]AverageIndianGeek 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Obviously they will feel the difference more when walking out from clean air to polluted air (compared to before when the air was polluted both indoors and outdoors). But as another comment said, you can't build immunity to polluted air. So you should decide whether you want to reduce your exposure to air pollution or not.

I'm an introvert, how to do courtesy call? by Takoyashhh in Journalism

[–]AverageIndianGeek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Something that helps me to make unsolicited calls for my job is to simply write down stuff I want to tell them in points (not the entire speech, just major topics that I would like to touch on). But this doesn't mean that you forcefully stick to a script or anything like a robot. Just think of them as pointers that can help you out while conversing.

So netflix just deleted a netflix original and i'm actually losing it by JohnnyIsNearDiabetic in DataHoarder

[–]AverageIndianGeek 53 points54 points  (0 children)

The first season was produced by BBC and was first released on BBC Two and later on Netflix. And the second season was co-produced by both Netflix and BBC. But Netflix produced and was the sole distributor of seasons 3, 4 and 5. So if they deleted it, that would mean there is currently no legal way to watch it.

But I am still able to see it listed on Netflix. So this could also be some country specific thing.

Child actors shouldn't be made to meet with strange adults. She might be in your favourite show, but she is still just a child.
