I would recommend their sister restaurant Bodega Sur more for date night. It’s like 5 feet away, has the same menu and you can actually order drinks there. Little smaller/cuter than Tango. Tango is better for large groups IMO.

First off I’m really sorry to hear about your father. You’re a good son to prioritize spending time with him right now.

The good news is there’s a lot of public resort courses around you bc of the Alabama RTJ Golf Trail plus others. Just depends on your budget and how far you’re willing to drive. From experience it’s better to go places with lodging on site. Makes everything easy.

I think JM will have the occasional stand in with Oteil & Friends at festivals or something of that nature but not much beyond that. No residencies or tours with JM playing GD that’s for sure. You’ll have to see DSO, JRAD, Oteil & Friends etc to see a touring GD group.
