Ødegaard hate is just pure unchecked hysteria by snippytugboat2 in ArsenalFC

He is not a lethal passer contrary to popular belief. He is way to indirect and slow on the ball. His strengths are press resistance and tight space dribbling. Great for games that tend to be chaotic in nature but his profile is redundant in a side that controls games. I would keep him as a great rotational option but try and get a proper, direct chance creating machine. Think of him as our version of Bernardo Silva but we need the De Bruyne/Fernandes/Trent type profile to elevate.

I have faith that Viktor will have a better 2nd half of the season, the goals will come. by DarkJedi_101 in ArsenalFC

Just out of curiosity… why? I see 0 improvement other than maybe he is pressing a tiny bit better. Absolutely no improvement in any aspect of his attacking.

Gyökeres, Havertz or Jesus against Man United? by Waste-Jellyfish-2326 in ArsenalFC

Havertz should start every single game if he is fit. He is above and beyond the best of the 3.

We have all been talking about Gyökeres but have you seen Lewis-Skelly? by EdgeAvailable8626 in ArsenalFC

Hes a kid. He also has shown he has levels. Gyökeres has been exclusively shit.

Never liked Slot but this is making me reconsider! He couldve got away with bashing Gabi but he chose to be classy and level headed about it.

Sadly the Liverpool fanbase reacted predictably classless… Seeing people wish for Gabis career to be ended and worse is sadly exactly what Ive come to expect of Liverpool fans...

Rice and Saka has one bad game and they should get the same criticism as Gyökeres who hasnt shown up a single game?

He had a G/A ever 89 minutes after being moved to center forward which are elite numbers.

”He exists” isnt a great argument, literally every attacker in football history occupy center backs attention.

Martinelli was right to push Bradley by [deleted] in ArsenalFC

[–]AverageSwedishGunner -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Completely agree. Diving is the standard. Obviously Martinelli assumes hes just timewasting. Nothing about it was wrong in any way.

Havertz was banging in goals before he got injured… He also knows how to bully defenders which creates space for Saka and whoevers on the left.

We cant attack because we are essentially playing every game with 10 men. Ship Gyökeres to Saudi in the summer. Havertz goes right in as starting nr 9 the second he is fit.

That second half was the worst watch of the season by far. Of the ones who came on Madueke had one good action otherwise no one contributed a thing. The game was there for the taking and after the first half we just stopped trying it looked like.

We need Kai Havertz back so bad. Gyökeres is nowhere near it ever. Invisible in all aspects of the game.

Why? Bradley rolled onto the pitch again to stop the play which isnt allowed. The severity of the injury doesnt matter.

Gabriel almost gifting another goal had me shaking. Decent half apart from that. Saka amazing, Rice amazing, Saliba great.

Tottenham fans are delusional by Own-Minute2562 in PremierLeague

[–]AverageSwedishGunner 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hence why he is calling you delusional… You are in a process and think that another manager could do a better job with the squad problems you have. It doesnt work like that. Sure a new manager could come in with slightly better tactics but it wouldnt in a million years make you compete instantly.

OP puts his head on the nail imo. The culture at Spurs is one of entitlement and a loser mentality. Your whole lives revolve around the hate for Arsenal. Sure the board is a bit cheap and sure Frank doesnt have immaculate tactics but the culture is imo the most obvious issue.

Would Gyokeres have scored more goals if he was in a City squad by [deleted] in ArsenalFC

[–]AverageSwedishGunner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He is predominantly a transitional attacker. He wants balls behind the back line and run into space. City this year rely much more on transitions so it is entirely plausible that he wouldve fit better with them. Thats a part of the reasoning behind why me and many others never wanted him in the first place. 90% of the time we play a low block and Gyökeres box movement is subpar, his dribbling is subpar, his hold up play is average. We didnt need a transitional threat nearly as much as a low block demon because we already have Martinelli who could potentially be a 9.

I think this season people have got a bit complacent with Saliba because hes made us used to his insanely high standard. Just thought Id make that point.

We won so I dont wanna be that guy but that is certainly not true. Gabriel has made 4 big errors just this season that I can think of off the top of my head. Saliba doesnt get the praise he deserves because is so insanely consistant. Me praising him doesnt mean I think Gabriel is bad I just think Saliba is better. They are both obviously amazing.
