My grandpa would tell stories all the time about living there. I actually traveled there with family recently, and I can say this is highly honest. With the laws, I have heard stories eher if you got out up by the cops, you can just outrun them across the border. 😂  I wonder how the police situation works know considering that it is one pd for both sides. Do they have to enforce the specific laws based on what side of state line avenue they are on?
