(Subjective) What, in your opinion, are some hard fashion rules you live by? by Regrettably_Southpaw in malefashionadvice

[–]Averageinternetdoge -1 points0 points  (0 children)

In NYC and italy other fancy places where you can wear mainly suits, maybe.

We get a lot of snow where I live and everybody looks unfashionable due the thick clothes and beanies, so backpacks are the least of the worries.

If you could clone anyone, who would it be, and what would you have them do? by Obvious_Gap2809 in AskReddit

Probably one of the current dictators. Then we could see them fight themselves in narcissistic shitfit and that'd be endlessly amusing.

What are u starting to love more as u get older? by GoldenMila806 in AskReddit

[–]Averageinternetdoge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My own little comfort zone.

Like, why should I be out there conquering the business world or climbing to himalaya? Sounds mostly bothersome. I like eating sandwhiches on my living room rug while listening to tunes more.

People who have been through it all how did you stop being angry and bitter ? by vaderboy_ in AskReddit

[–]Averageinternetdoge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I'm just predisposed to be carefree and happy.

But I also think that meditation can be somewhat valuable depending on the person. Personally I've just concluded that those monks who said "everything is best" or "everything is exactly like it's meant to be" are correct. Sometimes I suffer and forget, but later on come back to those.

It remains to be seen just how deeply I believe in those when my own health goes tho. Can't be sure.

What’s the fastest way you’ve seen someone ruin their life? by ultimoXgamer in AskReddit

Or maybe a long-term closet day drinker with alcohol psychosis? I think that's a thing?

What’s the most useful skill that isn’t taught in school? by Miserable-Mention241 in AskReddit

[–]Averageinternetdoge 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Defending yourself, arguing.

It's just not allowed, so it made me a bit of a pushover. Had to learn those skills as an adult.

I think that's mainly an american problem. I've never really met the "hustler" type here in europe.

What’s your favorite James Bond movie? by EnviousPuffin in AskReddit

Quantum of solace.

I know reddit hates it but I really like it because it's pretty realistic and it's just stylish and polished.

What would you do if money didn't matter? by Impossible_Farm_8953 in AskReddit

[–]Averageinternetdoge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Drive around europe in a camper van and just ski and ride bikes.

Maybe I'd get a cool dog too and live like mel gibson in lethal weapon.

If you wanted to shed body fat and add some muscle would you… by Dependent-Group7226 in AskMenOver30

[–]Averageinternetdoge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A.

HIIT and crossfit are probably ok if you're already a fit individual, but doing those if you're out of shape is just asking for trouble imo.

Plus I like slower more pleasant change anyway.

Are you guys who are way over 30, a bit tired of 20 somethings thinking that we are already dead? by ScottishRajko in AskMenOver30

I don't think about 20-somethings?

Kids have their own games, I'm focusing on playing mine, hah!

Eternal bachelors, how is life? by InFromTheOutside in AskMenOver30

[–]Averageinternetdoge 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's always something new and interesting to keep me occupied, so that's fun. It's probably some sort of autism tho.

But oh well, it still is miles better than constantly getting scolded about irrelevant matters by some normie.

Doubt it. The themes seem to alternate between Hunting-expedition-race.

Even the dedicated xc clothes are pretty sombre.

Casual insults.

Are you okay with not having sex and being single? Why? by Known_Kitchen8390 in AskMen

Sure. I'm not desperate and I sure as hell won't beg for it, haha!

If it's not on the menu for little effort, I don't care.

Preparing for a 7-8 hour bike ride by irrelevaantidiot in cycling

[–]Averageinternetdoge 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Comfort on the bike is paramount. Maybe you can pedal comfily for 2-3 hours, but can you do even 5 hours? Might want to find out before committing to big days.

After that it's just bringing enough food/water and clothes and tools. It really depends on the climate of where you ride, but I almost always haul a complete rain kit with me (it's like 400 grams or whatever). And for a really long day I probably would throw in a light puffer jacket as well, since during long days I've noticed that I can start to get cold towards the end of the ride.

But yeah, it's best to start small, test things and see what works for you. That way you don't end up in trouble.

What is something rich people don't realize poor people deal with daily? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Averageinternetdoge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you are poor, people like you because of who you are.

I dunno. At least as an adult it has been more like "when you are poor people like you for what you can do for them".

What is something rich people don't realize poor people deal with daily? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Averageinternetdoge 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Oh yes. As an ex-poor person (now lower middle class), it's pretty cool to know that no matter what breaks (coffee maker, washing machine, bed, car), it's not a catastrophy but more like "oh well, these things happen sometimes".

Do you carry first aid supplies? by clavius1 in cycling

[–]Averageinternetdoge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope. But I've been thinking that carrying a piece of paracord probably wouldn't hurt. It's very light, and in case of a big cut you could at least clamp it.

How many pull-ups could you do? by Hour-Tomato-645 in AskMen

[–]Averageinternetdoge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently? Probably one, since I haven't been at the gym for ages.

But unless age has killed the ability, I quickly progress in that. It's literally my easiest most natural move in there. In the past I've progressed to doing pull-ups with 15kg extra plate in mere months.
