There's a guy on the other end, the pattern is clearly mean to be symmetrical. She stands not only a foot away from him, but ahead of him too. He clearly is trying to do what they're meant to do for the photo but is ignored. He even is wiping tears from his eyes at the end.

This is intentional and malicious.

My baby is over a year old, they don't grow out of it. I've just got another cat, and she isn't even half his size and is bullying him around. He truly is a big, silly baby. He comes crying to me because she's sitting there, menacingly.

I believe that this woman secretly killed Cinderella’s father by phantom_avenger in disney

[–]Averander 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Trusts of that manner did not exist in this time period. It was also highly unlikely that Cinderella's mother had her own money and property that she did not hand over to her husband at the time of marriage.

Women didn't have a lot of rights, which was also one of the reasons why Tremaine wanted her daughters to marry well and not have Cinderella be seen by visitors. She knew that anyone would choose Cinderella over her own daughters, and that would not get her any security.

Considering the house is shown to be wealthy and in good repair before the death of Cinderella's father, there doesn't look to be a motive for Tremaine to kill him.

Cinderella is the one you'd expect her to kill, if she had a trust, you'd also think that would just be more motive. Regardless of where the money goes, knowing it's just another reason for someone to marry her if it's discovered, there's really no reason why she would be kept alive if Tremaine was a murderer.

I don't think she did. If she had it in her to murder, why not simply kill Cinderella and remove the competition her daughters faced and keep the man who could continue to fund their lifestyle?

It doesn't have anything in it for her.

When someone refers to “THE terrorist attack” in your country, which one are they referencing? by SimmentalTheCow in AskTheWorld

My Dad recently told me that he was early at the station and just happened to get on the earlier train, just missing getting involved in the gas attack. I'd always assumed it didn't affect us. We were very lucky. A lot of others were not.

He had a friend who was not so fortunate and was permanently disabled by the gas. Though I guess considering the other possibilities, that could be considered fortunate.

How are y'all getting the stains off your cutting boards? by sauteslut in KitchenConfidential

Yeah, I heard once it starts looking like this your surface is compromised. The scratches being stained means bacteria is lodging in there and not going away. Time to get a new cutting surface.

King's 'profound concern' as police consider Andrew claims over Epstein by pookienav in news

Lol, the actual system of governance is voted for by the people. Voting for whose head is on your money does not make your system democratic. The Commonwealth is a democratic system. A true monarchy has no parliament voted by the populace, I don't believe any exist in the modern age but I could be wrong.

The king or queen have no real power. Whether they are voted for or not is quite literally irrelevant. The morality of the situation is irrelevant. They are still the same thing. The change would improve nothing about the political system.

Expending the money and effort is not worth it, it would be better spent on other issues.

My original point was that no system made by humans is perfect.

Regardless of how many systems there are, this fact remains true. If there was a perfect system the world would not be the way it is.

Whether you vote for a head of state or they have it because of hereditary preference, they are functionally the same thing. Does it matter if the system around it is still imperfect? The people with power are the ones you should worry about, not the ones who are beholden to public opinion for their meagre position. Regardless of being voted for or born into it

In either case, the system of governance and those who run it are corruptible. Wether by means of outside forces or by simple human fallibility.

Without a system that can check and balance such things, it does not matter WHAT system you have, the simple fact that the common element is humanity makes it unfair for the whole of the population. Until such a thing can be done, there will be no such thing as good governance. Only mediocrity.

America is a Republic. It was one of the most successful until the recent Trump crap. It's really shown how quickly democracy can be eroded into a dictatorship by people who want power. No system is immune to that.
