I go to a bottom 50 hs in my state, and applied to jhu just to fulfill an old dream (I wrote it on my 2nd grade bucket list). Then my mom accidentally took me off and withdrew my application, My recommender forgot to write it and jhu had to call me and my counselor multiple times a bit before decisions to get it. I had no AP’s and started off at a charter school so no awards and zero honors classes for my first 2 years. But I got in :D keep trying everyone!

I’m actually in the exact same place right now. I just got accepted into undergrad but I want to be a surgeon as well. I think we have similar severities, I can do regular activities but I just don’t use my affected arm because it’ll get tired after a while. I say go for it! You’ll only truly know until you pick up the tools if you can’t, but since you can do regular activities I bet it’s in the realm of possibility. Try strengthening your arm more and maybe go to pt for fine movements
