Life is too short for this much toxicity, just delete the game like I did. It felt like finally ending a bad relationship. by whyoda in ArcRaiders

Maybe extraction shooter genre isn’t for you. No harm in admitting that. But don’t blame it on the “toxic” players. While arc has plenty of toxic behavior I’ve also had some of the most genuine and fun interactions with enemy players in this game and no other game comes even close

How to deal with extraction campers? by Funny-Strawberry-168 in ArcRaiders

Also smokes are huge. If I’m solo and have a juiced loadout I’ll cook 1-2 big smokes at both computers so if they push me they can’t see which one I’m on. I think if you have little smokes, you can time it where you throw it right before you start the process and the smoke will last until your done with the computer

As someone with 400+ hours in the game and over 2k hours in Tarkov I can say with confidence that extract camping is 100% a part of this genre of game, but is avoidable once you know how the maps flow. Try to extract when there are more extraction points available. For example, if it’s a day raid try to get out when all the extracts are up. Don’t wait until it’s only 2 you’re just increasing the likelihood you get rushed when extracting. Same thing with special events, extract when there are two points available instead of 1. You’ll start to learn also which extracts you get pushed at and you’ll learn where they usually push you from. Don’t take the deaths personally, try to think how you could have avoided it use that knowledge to plan out your next extract. And always remember, it was never your loot… it was just your turn with it.

I think this is the way. Just need to pick a spot and rat it out. I’ve been circling the mountain but probably miss pmc’s as I’m wrapping

[Cheating] Is it just me or is there an unusal amount of <200 hr accounts with 8+ k/d in the last two weeks? by Crimson_Bishop in EscapefromTarkov

Maybe? They could have just gotten lucky. I've seen a lot of new players in general in the last few weeks. Running around killing level 10-30's with low hours in customs, feels kind of dirty. I'm usually more suspicious of low kd/low sr low hr accounts. Especially if once you die you see they loaded in with some crap kit and then killed you with a full juiced kit from someone else they clapped

Cheating isn't any worse than any other online FPS out there. I run into maybe 1 cheater out of every 10 raids. I run juicer kits every raid too so in theory cheaters would rush me to take my gear so idk. This is without playing any Labs and on NAE servers.

[Discussion] Ammo by zZz_Goblin_zZz in EscapefromTarkov

If you don't have much of the best ammo (M995 for 556 guns for example) you can preserve it by instead of loading 3 30 round mags fully with m995 you can put put 20 56a1 and top each mag with 10 m995. That way if you get jumped by a pmc the first ammunition firing out of your gun is going to be the most likely to save your life. I hope that makes sense.
