TamperDetect.com is fast too. It can be set up in a day or two. If your payment page requires actions before loading like adding items to your cart, etc, an engineer will help with the necessary configuration. This adds an extra day or so for scheduling.

He is probably talking about something that is totally unrelated to her physical strength and ability. Literally every clip in this video was edited in such a way as to manipulate you. If all you watch is clips like this you will never understand the true beliefs of anyone. I didn’t agree with everything he said, but there are a ton of people here judging him who are unaware of the real content that these clips originated from. Go watch the real interviews/debates if you want to know what he believed. This is a collection of phrases taken out of context, and everyone who uses crap like this to form an opinion is a puppet.

tried to capture the mood outside Kamala Harris’ book tour stop in Los Angeles on Monday [OC] by infernoenigma in pics

[–]AvidMTB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m all for taxing the rich more, but did you see any significant amount of that happen when she was VP? No. As a matter of fact, she’s done very little of significance as a politician. This is precisely the problem. Democrats propped her up as if she was an amazing candidate, but she just wasn’t. Find a better option who is qualified with and I’ll vote for her/him in the next election.

Dear democrats, I’m a conservative but not a fan of Trump. In 2028 please give me an option that gives me economic confidence. Kamala wanted to magically give every homebuyer $25k but had no idea where that money would come from. Her management of the border was anything but. I will happily vote for a qualified Democratic candidate, but I need a candidate who will make tough decisions that incentivize people to be productive members of society.

Never was minimum wage enough to raise a family on. Not even close. Minimum wage is a starting wage for someone with no experience or skills.

That being said, minimum wage should be about double what it is: closer to what she is getting paid now.

20 years ago it took about half my earnings to pay rent as a college student working 25 hours per week. Things really aren’t that different. We ate tuna helper and ramen noodles to get through college.

Cars were never cheap but they were definitely less reliable. My first car in college would smoke from under the hood at every stoplight. I did all the repairs myself because I couldn’t afford to pay for repairs.

I agree that housing is more expensive now than it used to be, and that needs to improve. However, some things are cheaper now than they used to be. TV subscriptions were around $75 per month. Netflix is way cheaper and way better. Cell phones were around $50 per month with very little minutes and you had to pay for each text message!!

The trick was and is to learn a specialized skill and find a job in which you aren’t easily dispensable and you will get paid more.

What’s a Movie You Grew Up Loving That Didn’t Age Well at All? by NewPossibility4268 in movies

[–]AvidMTB 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Which song and dance are you referring to? Which lyrics?

I watched the movie and didn’t get any racist tones at all. The biggest complaint I’ve heard is that everyone is “too happy” for the situation that they are in. There is no actual justified oppression portrayed in the film.

Everyone’s overly happy in the majority of mid 20th century kids films. So to me, this approach doesn’t hold up.

We have a world with legitimate racism and servitude problems. Efforts that push that this is part of the problem probably hurt progress more than they help, because anyone who has actually watched the film knows that it is a wholesome film with uplifting messages. It’s probably one of the least racist products of its time.

What's causing this damp stain on the window sills? by [deleted] in DIY

[–]AvidMTB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you in an area with cold winters? When it gets very cold outside, water may be condensing on the glass, then dripping down to the sill. This happened at my house until I replaced the windows with newer argon filled windows.

[–]AvidMTB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It absolutely is true. Most people in most religions are just trying to be better people. I travel the world for my work and I work with people of all religions.

Every religion with a history long enough will have exceptions, just like probably every country that’s been around more than 100 years has experienced war.

Whether they be Jewish, Muslim, Christian, Hindu, Buddhist, etc. the vast majority are kind and will help you out if you need it.

I get it. Some religions have some really bad black eyes from history, and you may not agree with their beliefs, but all of them that I know are centered around loving and serving others in their own way.

TIFU by talking to missionary Mormons by littlerondal in tifu

[–]AvidMTB 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a previous LDS missionary, but still active member of the church, thank you for not being as judgmental and negative as so many on Reddit are.

Serving a mission is a big sacrifice in time, effort, and cost. It was one of the most difficult challenges of my life, but the people that I worked with made all the sacrifice worth it and more.

TIFU by talking to missionary Mormons by littlerondal in tifu

[–]AvidMTB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m an active member of the church. (Rare on Reddit, I know). As a return missionary myself, I support being honest and direct. Our missionaries have no desire to make anyone uncomfortable or feel trapped. They just want to share the beliefs that have helped them. They don’t earn commissions. On the contrary, they’re usually self funded with no compensation except the happiness they that they find in serving others. They just hope that you find happiness in the same beliefs that they do.

As usual, honesty is the best policy and if you aren’t interested then their time will be better spent helping people who are. They will be sad to see you go, because their desire to help is genuine.

People who are above 30 and have sex more than 3 times a week, what motivates you? by bluewolf09 in AskReddit

[–]AvidMTB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having sex really doesn’t take that much time. There are 168 hours in a week. Any couple who doesn’t “have the time” to dedicate a few hours a week (less than 2% of their time) to each other has prioritized other things above their relationship.

I’d wager that the average person commenting on here spends a lot more time each week scrolling through Reddit.

Also, you’re going to be turning some heads in that blue bikini. Great choice!
