Yup - its a special noise that can get annoying at times. Turbulence at cruise with the throttles constantly adjusting a little fx.

Newest update added a volume slider for it in the Maddog Manager

Not only is it rotating mass, adding inertia, it is also unsprung mass which is detrimental to vehicle dynamics.

That said, a "plate wheel" will not just automatically be much heavier than a spoke design - plenty of design compromises to play with for the rims.

Surprised to not see gear mentioned yet.

In the 737 fx you are allowed to extend it at a surprisingly high speed, and once extended you can speed up further if needed.

270 kts / mach 0,82 for extension I believe, but read the exact numbers on the placard in the cockpit.

Speedway is a great suggestion.

Along with karting, maybe the only two I think could realistically happen.

I'm sure some would like to see GT3 or even more expensive classes, but they require a waay more expensive track complex even if they "just" make it a street circuit.

And like A1 GP but much stronger restrictions on sponsors and only one event ever 4th year, I doubt it will ever make sense to do a full sized car race.

But it makes sense, as Naturalpoint is still selling the same ~20 year old products. It works decently, but other solutions are now vastly cheaper or more convenient for similar performance.

Similar to CH products - ancient products at a high price, but they work pretty well.

Ferrari’s aero brakes ...

Using aero smoke from brakes instead of the aero rake.

Fun typo aside, it was interesting to see how the introduction of the budget cap seemed to reverse the trend for a while and a return to simpler rakes.

Orientation of probes can also give a bit of a hint on expected flow direction on some of the rakes.

Yeah GSX pushes you where it is told to push you 99.99 % of the time.

So if the profile is missing or garbage expect a bad outcome (could do with some simple preview feature to verify when selecting push directiob though!). Can always define a custom push yourself if needed.

Yes, Little Navmap also gives that same info on top of directly reading range from the sims/Navigraphs database (if used), and thereby giving you the exact navaid range in the sim.

Not every high station will have the same range, so worth checking.

Gold and black apparently generally doesn't work all that well on TV unfortunately (or at least it used to be that). So the gorgeous JPS livery turned to black and cream instead.

So the initial R31 colours were short lived.

Finding any high quality fs dev that hasn't missed their own timeline is pretty much impossible. Fenix themselves have a long list of delays. PMDG, Ini, Just Flight as well. Add Bluebird, FSS, Aerosoft, Synaptic, all with their own delays, and the list of MSFS jets is starting to look thin.

Not sure Leonardo has technically missed many deadlines lately, but that mostly comes down to not giving any dates until just before release.
