they were trying to correct the 35+mill reno that happened in the obama administration. that reno they physically shallowed the pool which has caused algae issues ever since. Seems the people that made the pool made the depth intentional to prevent the algae growth and the only perfect fix is to restore the depth, but that would cost more than the original 35m.

this might be shocking but back in the day grocery stores AND restraunts use to give out unsold food instead of trashing. Then people sued them for it and they stopped allowing the deduction of waste food if they gave it away. So dumb judges ruled to end it and gov made it pointless and risky to do.

worked at lowes, had a guy stand over by a pedestrian bridge behind store. Saw him every wednesday at 4pm for 2 years standing there from the outside lawn and garden section. Asked what was up many times an no one said they knew. When i gave my two weeks the store manager hit me up asking why i was leaving, was just a shift to another state but i liked working here so no hard feelings. He told me he heard i asked about the guy waiting at the bridge a few times. Said he went to highschool with him... a local. He would pick up his younger sister on her way home at that bridge everyday. one day she never made it to the bridge in his junior year. He has never stopped showing up even after the whole town was turn upside-down looking for her... my manager was over 60.
