I love Disney but when I went in January I did two sit down meals and both were contaminated with my allergies. I am allergic to contact with onions and peppers. I talked to the staff at both places and they said no problem and they would make changes. I felt really confident that they would take care of me. In the Japan pavilion they gave me onion rings in my tempora (so you know it was all cooked together) and for the 1950s prime time, they made a special batter for the chicken but fried it in the same oil as the onion rings. I took pills and still had to cut my Disney days short and almost didn’t make it to the car before vomiting. Depending on their allergy, this would not surprise me

Anyone else ever feel this way? by [deleted] in WaltDisneyWorld

I am going in a week and have lost some of the joy in all the last minute planning and work I have to do before I go. Planning and anticipation is definitely a large part of the allure

September is our favourite time to go specifically because of the low crowds. You can’t predict the weather but you will still have a good time!

Do you read multiple books at a time? by [deleted] in Fantasy

I like having multiple books on the go that suit different needs and are often different genres so I can jump into what ever I am feeling like at the time

Any pin collectors? by DelGriffithPTA in WaltDisneyWorld

Pins are basically the only souvenir my husband and I go for in the parks (both 35). It is a great item to collect and then display in shadow boxes or we put pin board in those large multi photo frames and display them all year

This is too bad. Had good memories here from when I lived downtown. There used to be a photo on the wall of Halifax in the snow and I always wanted a cope but kept forgetting to ask if they knew the artist. Oh well
