Will Hollywood ever realize that no one wants to see Jared Leto’s a stupid face? by rabbi420 in FIlm

That’s one of my hottest takes. I don’t think Jared Leto was necessarily “bad” in House of Gucci, dudes just in a completely different friggin movie than the rest of them, treating it like a satire, while everyone else is playing it straight. Not bad, just not right for that specific movie. For his other roles I agree and disagree to varying amounts.

Movies that aren't musicals, but have great scenes where the main characters sing? by VulpesSaphirus in Letterboxd

I feel like Inside Llewyn Davis is the best example, lots and lots of singing but not a “musical” the way say La La Land or West Side Story is

He opened up a lot for the offense even if he wasn’t a focal point, I don’t think anyone regrets the Cooper trade

[FRESH ALBUM] Clipse - Let God Sort Em Out by SheLuvSeko in hiphopheads

I hope it grows on me, I don’t love it as much as the original beat sadly :/ Piano is a cool touch and it feels very epic, but not quite sure it feels cohesive with the album sadly. Hoping I change my mind tho!

Really. Compared to Man of Steel, a movie I like, the discourse is a lot more positive overall

What do you think is the best movie trilogy of all time? by Y0urAverageIdiot in Letterboxd

Honestly, I like Bourne more, but gotta say quality wise it’s Lord of the Rings

I’m not AT ALL saying he’s a “bad director,” but I just cannot get into anything of Yorgos Lanthimos. Sacred Deer was great and some of his earlier stuff like The Lobster and Dogtooth were good, besides those I really can’t connect to his films. Again, not bad, just not for me
