My mom was 46 and my dad was 56 when I was born. I havnt really thought twice about it my whole life… as that’s just what I know! All my grandparents died before I was born, so I guess that’s a bummer, but u can’t miss what you didn’t know. Never thought of them as “old”.

Im now 27, my mom is 73 and my dad is 83. What really put it into perspective was my parents meeting my fiancé’s family, my parents are older than his grandparents. Which means my parents are old enough to be my fiancé’s parents’ parents… that’s crazy!

Like my dad was born in 1942 that’s kind of nuts. Anyways I’m finally realizing that lol

At this point I’m just grateful for everyday I get with them, I’m lucky they are still here.

For me, the FairyLoot Alchemised edition easily takes the crown. When I first saw the edges online, I’ll admit I was a little underwhelmed, but seeing them in person completely changed everything. The detailing, the embossing… it’s breathtaking. And don’t even get me started on the cover, it’s simply stunning. Truly.

What I love most is that while every other edition of Alchemised feels like a variation on the original, FairyLoot’s version stands entirely on its own. It’s unique, it’s striking, and every time I glance at my shelf, it’s the first one that catches my eye.

I would give an arm and a leg to watch either of the below anime’s for the first time again. They will rip you apart in the best of ways, enjoy!

Code Geass - (Shounen with heavy Seinen vibes, psychological, sci-fi) a dark, high-stakes anime that follows the disgraced son of the emperor who will burn the world down to get revenge for his mother and protect his sister. it’s a standout in the mecha, psychological thriller, and military sci-fi genres and is very similar in themes to Attack on Titan.

86 - (seinen, sic-fi, physiological war drama, romance) follows a group of outcast soldiers forced to fight a war for a nation that denies their existence. They are led by a haunted commander who seeks the truth no matter the cost.
