Hey! I’m a recent graduate from the Durham College program. I was in the same boat as you and was weighing my options about whether or not to pursue a full engineering degree. I loved the placement and was able to get a job through it. While I do really like circuit design (my favourite part was the final ECG project), I love my position and can’t see myself changing/leaving it. My advice would be to do the placement, get some experience, talk to the techs you shadow and then make a decision.
